Summer's hottest hair accessory
submitted: Aug 29, 2007tip #220
This summer's hottest hair accessory is not only super cute, but it cuts down on hair styling time and will keep you feeling cooler too! Yes, we are referring to the ever-practical headband!
Keep one on hand for those bad hair days for an instant hair fix and you'll look chic and polished all day (without spending time under a hot dryer or applying a lot of product).
Bonus: it will keep hair off your forehead, preventing breakouts!

me too. I don't pay either but it's still cool.
I like this site too, I agree it would be more fun to have everything open, but it is also pratical not to, too. How often will you really use it. Unless u r a hair dresser.
I like it but not everyone is beautifull with a headband. I find it easy to wear at home when but if I wear one of those ,I think my head is to round for it.
it says it is the summer's hottest hair accessory, but I don't see it. How do I bring it up to see
arnızda türkçe bilen var mı?
I love headbands, but I have a problem with them staying in one place. They tend to gradually slide to the back of my head as the day goes on! I do like to wear them to keep my hair out of my face.
If you are having problems getting them to stay in place, try using a couple of kerb grips to keep in place. There is a wide verity of colours blend with the hair band or hair colour.
This tip about the hair band is good but here are a few aditional tips. They go very well with the A-line baby doll 60's style dresses that are popular now. However keep in mind that a hair band is only as good as the forehead it's revealing. If you have a long face avoid sweeping your fringe back as it will elongate your face. Instead try putting the hair band across the roots of your fringe with the fringe hanging on your fore head. Also to keep this look looking 2007 instead of 1991, ensure your hair is hanging in front of your shoulders rather than behind.
hi everyone, I like the site so keep on the good work, so we can look cool and fashionable too
i really like this page!!!the only thing that i dont like is that we have to pay to be a full member and that really sucks because they dont guve regular members as much styles as thise of others!!!!in my oppinion this should change!!!
What about those of us with round faces? I love headbands, but find that thick ones make me look like Atilla the Hun, I can wear a thin one and not look too bad. But I also have the slippage problem.... I love the new headbands that are wrapped in material that tie and leave it hanging, but alas, they too slip off. Guess I'll have to stick to my tiny headbands....
I don't like it ,it makes me hot and always slide.
welcome all the new members
gd tip 2
First off. I don't pay either. It is just as good as a non paying member. Second, I totally agree with this tip. Afew months ago, i had a huge break out on my forehead because of the oils from my fringe. So I brought a black head band. My breakout cleared up about a week or so later. And now I don't have to bother about my fringe! Yipee! :)
i dont like head bands, they look really bad on me and never stay on my head...i have somewhere between a square and a heart-shaped face and really curley hair, it looks really odd pulled back like that
I also had really curly hair and still do, but then I got my paws on some really good hair straighteners. Another good tip: if you have a fringe of any length (long medium or short) take it out of the headband and put it to the sides. It looks really good, and will suit any face shape. GOOD LUCK!!!!
I know days that I'm running late and don't have time to wash my hair I just out it back in a headband. Or like Pink Diamond said part your hair on the side or in the middle and put it on.
why do we have to pay to see ourselves that is so un fair!grrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!
i think a have a big head, cause after a full days of wearing a headband... the cress beside my ears hurts sooo bad!
