I adore Thanksgiving! Turkey, stuffing, homemade rolls, pumpkin pie—in my opinion, it’s the best holiday of the year. You’d think that, since I’m such a fan of the feast, I’d actually know how to whip up this stuff myself, but no. I’m a terrible cook (seriously, Toaster Strudel is about as far as I go). While my sisters and mom are busy in the kitchen, I’m usually somewhere getting tipsy off of rum spiced cider and doing makeovers on my pre-teen cousins. But just because I have no delicious dishes to offer doesn’t mean I show up to Thanksgiving dinner empty-handed. If you’re as cooking-challenged as me, you’ll understand the power of a truly spectacular hostess gift. And I’m not talking a bottle of wine or a store-bought apple pie—so pedestrian, so expected! No, in my experience, holiday-themed beauty gifts are the most successful. My husband and I are planning to stop by three different Thanksgiving dinners this year, and here’s what I’m bringing:

I've got another great suggestion -- a fabulous book called DISHING HOLLYWOOD
has all great "dish" on Tinseltown scandals with a recipe connected to each one: from cocktails and appetizers all the way through to dessert. I promise, your hostess will LOVE it!
I think that this Idea will spice up my guest over my house on Thanksgiving day.
