Bath & Body Beauty Tip

Get Super Soft Feet

Get Super Soft Feet
Don't be afraid to bare your soles—with just a few simple moves your feet can look this good too!
Sandal season is in high gear, which means your feet need to look fabulous every day. Here are three DIY ways to make your soles soft, smooth and ready to be bare.

Got milk?
Soak your feet in a large bowl of warm whole milk. The lactic acid will slough off rough spots and make your skin feel extremely soft.

Lock in moisture
Slather your feet with a rich foot cream, then slip on a pair of cotton socks. Wear the socks for at least 20 minutes (you can even sleep with them on) to lock the moisture into your skin.

The buff stuff
Keep a pumice stone or foot file in your shower so that every day you can tackle rough spots
and cracked heels. This daily maintenance will prevent your feet from stepping into the scary sole zone.

rub/slather Bag Balm (similar to vaseline) on the dry areas of your toenails and the rough patches around the edges of your feet before you get in the shower/bath. it makes them soft, is a quick-fix for dry cuticles, and makes them ready for a self-pedi. ...do not put it on the bottom for your, you'll slip!

i also have use Bag Balm for my lips for about 15yrs...i have the softest lips ever, ...according to my hubby ;-).

(Bag Balm is in a square, green container, usually in the pet aisle, used for cow udders...my dermatologist told me to get it, so it's fine! LOL)

does the milk really work? i want to try it.

moldova100 wrote: Mon, 2009-09-14 15:13

these methods dont work because the skin is like seran wrap and nothing can get thru it unless you get a cut or thru ur eyes, mouth, and nose. i dont know about the one with the milk cuz the skin makes vitamin D for you by going out side but dont go outside too much cuz u will get wrinkles and age faster.

I tried it but a bit diffrent because i couldnt get all the right ingredant at the moment.
What i did: so i kept the milk idea in in a bowl of course and soaked it for 15 minutes and then i just used reagular lotion and then i put on long knee socks and they wernt cotten but and and worked good.
