Keep Your Brushes Clean

Makeup brushes gather bacteria that can transfer onto your skin causing pimples and blackheads, so its very important to keep them clean. A quick and easy way to clean your makeup brushes is to use baby wipes!

If clogged and synthetic brushes, used liquid soap for a good clean. If natural hair (ie. Sable) brushes also use Shampoo and conditioner, just like hair they will go dry and fizzy if not looked after. For both dry flat on a folded towel, with end of the brush over the edge.

I just use anti bacterial soap, makes them soft and gets rid of dirt and bacteria.
i use a lot of powder stuff on my face nd i always clean my brushes after nd before using them and i dont have any acni
I think that if you don't clean your brushes they are going to eventually soak up all of the make-up which is on it and dry out! Wash your brushes before and afer you use them!!!
I think 4jneen's tip was really helpful.
i tried using hand sanitizer instead of baby wipes and I believe that has caused me to develop a skin rash. So, don't try using hand sanitizer.

I wear mineral powder foundation. So, I clean my brush with eye makeup remover, rinse that out and wash with a antibacterial hand soap, rinse again. Let dry and then poof with your hand.

OH A GOOD WAY TO ALSO CLEAN BRUSHES IS WITH SHAMPOO! Get them wet, then shampoo for 15 seconds, then rinse them off and wala!
I agree, I use natural hair brushes and shampoo & conditioner works great... and the best part is its the one I already use so no need to buy anything special!
