Portable help to banish shine

A great tool that beauty experts are sure to have on hand at all times is a pack of blotting papers or rice papers. These are perfect for battling midday shine resulting from overactive oil glands (especially in the T zone - forehead, nose and chin). Simply blot over affected areas, leaving skin matte and shine-free.

Those are great! Especially in the summer time! I remember someone said that using a toilet seat cover when you don't have those sheets work just as well. Sounds weird but I tried it and amazingly enough they worked and even better they are free!

Are you meaning the soft disposal toilet seat tissues are great in banishing facial shines - blotting excessive oils? Sounds like a dumb question!

I have very dry skin as well and I get eczema at times but I use Dove Deep Moisture Facial Lotion and I have not had eczema on my face since. It is only about $4-$5.
It is great to know one more product that helps improve skin condition marred by eczema. QV balm is another great item for all body application esp. the very affected area. Since using it, the need to apply prescribed eczema cream such as Elacon, Advantan or Elidel has dramatically reduced. Also bathing with Pinetasol Gel helps relieve itch. I am not a QV sale consultant by the way! Simply user.
However controlling the diet is important. I have learned that quite many people with skin disorders actually have some food allergy problems. Quite a number are known to be coeliacs - people with a medical condition with sensitivity to gluten. Eliminating gluten 100% from diet dramatically improves the skin and health!
Try QV balm. Economical and effective. Or the commonly known Sorbolene Cream with 10% Glycerine. Drink lots of fresh water - straight from the tap if your tummy can handle it. Eat avocado esp. when in season, good essential oil and does wonders for the skin long run. Good luck.
I have a product that is wonderful for that. It's about $13! Also, remember exfoliating is also important.
This product has been around for over 30years but had kind of a gone out of fashion for a while. In my youth they came in little slim packs with a perforated opening for dispensing individual sheets. Handy purse size. I found they were the most effective product to combat shine rather than trying to touch up with powder which eventually creates a cakey and heavy look.

Clean and Clear makes them for about $4 and some change and they come in generic brands as well. you can get them anywhere. They are in the facewash section.
You can buy rice paper in a beauty supply stores (Sally Beauty Supply). It called "Oil-absorbing Rice Paper tissues". They sell it for about $3 for 40 tissues pack. The manufacturer for one that I am using is Palladio Beauty Group. It is two sided - one side is plain, the other is with rice powder. It could be purchased for various skin tones. Good luck.

The papers are great. I used to have to use them all the time. But I tell you sense I found my skin maintance set. I have not had that problem anymore. My skin has always been problematic. I tried all kinds of stuff. Then I found something that truly works and I sell it now! But the main reason I do is because i get discounts on my personal product!!
i have really oily skin and i am using clean and clear oil absorbing pads but they cost alot anyone know any cheaper ways
I bought neutrogrna shine control blotting sheets for $3.24 and it has 60 sheets.it works really well.
