Eyes Beauty Tip

Do you need eye cream?

Do you need eye cream? There's a reason why eyes get special treatment! Skin beneath the eyes lacks a fatty layer and has fewer oil glands and support than in the rest of the face. After cleansing, apply product with a gentle patting motion using the pad of your fourth finger. Eye creams contain ingredients specifically formulated to treat the delicate skin around the eyes and can be a worthwhile investment.

I use Dove Intense Moisture Cream in the winter and the lotion in the summer as the lotion is thinner for the hot seasons and the cream is more think for the dryer col season but I always massage the cream under my eyes and my eyelids as well because those get dry too.

this is a very true statement because i use dove intense moisture cream in the winter and the lotion in the summer as the lotion is thinner for the hot seasons and the cream is more thick for the dryer cold seasons but i always massage the cream under my eyes and my eyelids as well because those get dry too.

Does that mean you agree that's cool we must do the same thing.

You missed out to apply cream towards the nose to prevent stretching the delicate skin

ch_lovin... replied: Thu, 2008-01-10 11:34

I put it on the sides of my nose too because it gets dry there too and has a tendency to get flaky if neglected.

I must admit...i'm very neglegent on the skin under my eyes. I'm only 28 years old, but i've already got quite a few wrinkles under my eyes. So i'd say yes, special care needs to be taken of those areas. Just wish i had time for a proper face cleaning routine (other than my Avon facial scrub in the shower)!!

Moisturizer is a must especially one with an SPF when going out in the sun.

if you got ginger hair and you want to dye it what colour dye should i have??

ch_lovin... replied: Thu, 2008-01-10 16:32

What color do you want to dye it? Ginger has a reddish tint to it right? Well, I know since I have a natural reddish tint to my hair that I have to stay away from colors that say Golden on the box because that brings it out more. Redheads usually look good with blond hair too depends on your skintone and eye color.

I use any moisturizing eye cream, I think that the most imporant it is to use an eye cream, no matter the brand. Also, a monthly facial make wonderfuls with your face skin.

You are only as ugly as you feel go treat yourself! Whenever I feel down in the dumps I do something cute with my hair, get a pedicure or a facial. I can help what makes you feel no so beautiful?

You say eye cream but what kind?. I spend big bucks on special facials, and eye creams, but i don't seem to notice much change(i'm 34, and have allergies (i rub my eyes lots)and try not to). I wear make-up and it cakes or shows off my lines, what am i doing wrong?

3mom1gm replied: Fri, 2008-01-11 12:55

The cost of facials are much like car repairs. You get $5. of product and $50 worth of time/labor. It's nice to get pampered but go to Walmart and buy a daily moisturizer w/spf protection, a night cream and one product to fix a problem area (eye, lip lines). If it irritates your skin use it every other day. I returned to Cover Girl liquid foundation after trying expensive "powder-types". They caked and made lines more obvious. CG liquid goes on smooth but still covers.

Bare Minerals is a great makeup! I turned my mother onto it and she will be 60 in February (don't tell I told you) lol but she looks very young for her age and the bare minerals does wonders for her skin! We live in I think the driest climate you could be in the Mojave Desert! She also uses Olay Regenerist Daily Serum and she loves it and has turned her friends onto it as well. I use the Olay Regenerist peel, I know i am young but love the sun and have sensitive skin and it helps with that. I hope this helps! Moistuizer with SPF is the most important thing!

robinzahra replied: Mon, 2008-01-14 17:47

if you are having trouble with your eye makeup caking under your eyes, mix your foundation or concealer with a bit of moisturizer and blend. afterwards, dust some powder over the area to set the foundation.

ch_lovin... replied: Mon, 2008-01-14 18:23

I kind of do that, just I make sure I moisturize that area in particular and make sure that it dries before I apply my makeup. Like I will wash my face in the morning and apply my facial moisturizer and then do my hair so that it will dry because if you apply makeup right after then it will not stay on all day long and dry out and that can lead to caking as well. Also, applying too much can lead to that as well. You can also apply your makeup as usual and then look at the areas that need "touching up" and only apply a minimal amount as to keep it as natural as possile and then like you said apply powder to "set it."

3mom1gm wrote: Fri, 2008-01-11 12:42

I'm 46,live in a very dry climate in CO. and have dry skin naturally. I started using the Olay products recently and am very pleased. As for "ugly-bob marley" I've never been a beauty-queen and I worry about my outer looks but when I smile, with awful teeth, and treat people with respect and kindness I always get smiled back at (guys and girls).

hi im new. i jus use normalface moisturiser but if ur eyes r reeeely dry u could try mixing rose water with witch hazel nd soak cottonwool in it nd put it on ur eyes 4 a few minutes it moisturises nd also clear dark circles or puffiness

born_confused90 replied: Mon, 2008-02-18 10:40

is putting witch hazel on your eyes safe?

ch_lovin... replied: Tue, 2008-02-19 17:15

No. It would probably burn. You don't put toner on your eyes or around them. What are you suing it for?

ilovechatting wrote: Fri, 2008-01-11 13:06

yeah bob marley jus chill why dont u go too google nd type in ugly faces in images ull hav a great laugh nd itll also make u feel better abt urself
