We're seeing it everywhere: barefaced beauties are all over the magazine covers and prancing down the runways. Before you dump the contents of your makeup bag, know that the "natural look" requires more makeup than you may realize and the trick that keeps that flawless look from looking falling flat? A great blush! Nothing makes a woman look fresher and more radiant than a gorgeous, rosy flush. So smile ladies and apply a sweep of blush to the apples of your cheeks (and don't forget to blend!).

i think it would be nice if you guys of makeover solutions post an article telling the members how to apply the blush in accordance with the type of face
Amen grillito 2510! I'm not sure I would know how to do it correctly... It sounds simple, but I certainly don't want to walk thinking I look good when really I look like a clown.. It would also be nice to know what shades go with what skin tones...

I am no "expert", but have some tricks to choosing a color for your skin tone. If you have yellow undertones then choose a blush that has some yellow in it. ie peach,spring rose,or nude. If you have some blue undertones use a blue based blush. True red,Rose,or "blue pink" or again a nuetral nude.
See if anyone else has their suggestions.
Don't mean to sound silly, but what do u mean by yellow / blue 'undertones'?
the bronzer beads(they're mix of shades of baby pink, bronze, peach and gold) available commonly(try avon, oriflame) help a lot.. use a fat fluffy brush.. twirl it overbeads and use generously over apples of cheeks and sparingly over T-zone!!
To apple blush the easiest way is to smile and apply to the apples of your cheeks.
Along with choosing the perfect color for your blush picking the coloring of all your makeup to harmonize is really important! so fyi, google the book Color Me Beautiful. that book tells you a LOT about what colors look good on you. blush and all!

people..try to put on a blush that only shows a little on your skin..like if your skin is brown..put on an orange blush..i know that it sounds weird but it really works..trust me

I have pale skin like you and it looks the best on me. They say you can try peach as well but it looked orange on me but you can try if you want.

Yeah you could try it but not too bright or it will look clownish.
I think If u have nice showing cheek bones...
You can just put the blush where your bones are supposetly showing..
If you have dark dakr skin you can choose the dakr golden.
But if you have browinish skin you should try it with brownish Yellow.
And If you have light skin you should try it with rosie color but if you have light light skin you should try it with an peachy yellow..

think i have pale skin
i have pretty pale skin. i only have one blush and its kinda brownish pink. i dont really use it bcuz it makes me look kinda dirty, but i dont know what kind to buy. help!
I have really pale skin and browns do not look good on us! I use a mauve or rosy color but not bright colors. browns and peaches tend to look orange on us. A bronzer help out with a healthy gloq as well. Bronzer for us shouldn't have an orangy tint just like blush. It should be bronzy. Sounds weidr but it works. Put it all over and then put blush on the apples of your cheeks. Looks great!
how do you find out your clothing style on this site?
i dun think this site can tell u ur clothing style
but i can give u some tips
if u have a pear shape,don't wear any tops that show ur butt,it will make u look fatter,and try to wear dark outfits like black,green,it will make u look slim.if u are slim,you can try any outfits.i guess
There is also a site called www.myshape.com were you put in all your measurements and it tells you your shape and shows you what kind of clothes would look best on you. Hope this helps!
