Figuring out your skin tone

Ever wonder what category your skin tone falls into? Try these simple tests to determine if your complexion is warm (with yellow undertones) or cool (with pink undertones):1. Does gold flatter your skin tone better (warm)? Or silver (cool)?
2. Try an orange (warm) and a pink (cool) scarf around your face and determine which looks better on you.
3. If the veins on the inside of your wrist appear greenish then you are warm toned; if they appear bluish, then you are cool toned.
4. Try on a white and a cream colored top. If the cream looks more flattering, then you are warm toned, if the white looks better then you are cool toned.

I have VERY pale skin, yet very dark hair. I usually use warm colors, but I have found that if applied correctly, I can get away with some cool colors.
this is AWESOME!! i think i'm a mix... i look good with gold and silver, orange and pink, my veins are bluish, and cream and white... i'm kinda pale with light-ish brown hair...
You are right - there are some who are Neutral tones and can look go in both. Frequently not the very strong colours but softer versions of both sides.
I have been told that there are people who are Neutral tones. They can wear both gold and silver and most of the colours however not as strong as those one side or the other.

Ooh! I know a trick to find your natural skin tone! Put an ice cube on your cheek for about 30 seconds then take it off and your natural skin tone color will be there =]. I'm a rosy pink.

i m wa'rm toned besides that i luv orange colour.
Umm ya this is funny cause number 3 I belive does not work for me cause on my left wist it is blue but on my right wist it is green so can I just go good with warm and cool or what
yup. red, orange, cream, beige, green and brown are my colours! and my veins are greenish. im warm toned for sure. yey.
wtf how can u even define the colors of ur wrist...mine are blue, green, and purple!
im warm...i think, my veins look like bluish-green, but orange and red are SO my colours, and i couldnt do like a silver glitter or any sort of silver makeup (though i have this silver top that looks a-maz-ing) and white looks really harsh on me.....

it depends if if you have any undertones in your skin like orange/tan=warm none=neutral rosy=cool
I'm neutral. I have green and blue veins, strawberry blond hair, very fair skin, and chameleon eyes.

Well according to this Im warm I have dark brown eyes and dark blonde hair,which at times makes it hard for me to find makeup that suits me. Anyone else have this same problem?
I know Im not the only true brown eyed, blonde.
Doesn't really help that much if you are dark skinned. I guess I'm both tones? Because both gold and silver look ok on me.
The whole veins thing doesn't work for me because my veins are the same color as my skin. There's not really any blue or green just like a really dark kinda purple and redish
