How To Pick The Right Bronzer
submitted: Aug 13, 2008tip #299

Jamie-Lynn Sigler got her glow on with bronzer.
Bronzer is the easiest (and safest) way to get a gorgeous, sun-kissed look. For the most natural looking glow, it's key to pick the right shade. Here's the secret: Go with a powder or cream bronzer that is actually lighter than you think you need. Anything too dark will make you look orange, dirty, or even stripy. You should also avoid overly shimmery bronzers, which are obviously fake, especially during the day. The best type of bronzer to buy: Look for a sheer neutral light brown shade.

The best bronzer I have found is from Yves Rocher's YRIA collection. It actually has a lighter and darker shade so you are able to chose how dark of a look you want.

peaceout
i think the best bronzer is from remel london shine
You should add this to our product talk section!
I use Stila and Smashbox bronzers - both are great. I also like Guerlain and Benefit bronzers.
where would you find that and how much?
go to boots and look at the natural collection ones there £1.99 and you can test them to see the best one for you! :)
where would you find that and how much because i am tired of being pale. When i get in the sun all I do is burn and i really don't like going into the tanning beds...
It would be very helpful if the tip for the day showcased bronzers for dark skin and not just pale skin.
I have a bronzer but not the right colour for me !!! where would i find a better one ?! and how much ?! x
so where should i find the right complection for naked skin as in white skin
I use a cover girl bronzer. It only came in the one shade, but I find that if I only use a little bit on the brush, it doesn't come out dark (I have light skin..irish heritage) Also, sometimes I mix a little bit of bronzer with a face power to give a bit of a tint to the skin. I use it instead of blush.
What companies do not have any of the 'shimmering crystals' in them that make the bronzer look fake?
i use the pyramid bronzer, im not sure whats the name of it but it makes your face look flawless!
