Face Beauty Tip

Makeup application

Makeup applicationEver notice how your makeup looks drastically different from the time you apply it in the bathroom to when you step out into the bright light of day?

To ensure your foundation and color choices are true to your skin tone, try installing full spectrum light bulbs in your bathroom or wherever you apply your makeup.

These light bulbs mimic natural daylight; allowing the true color of your cosmetics to come out instead of seeing the yellowish cast that incandescent bulbs can often give.

you can also try sitting in a car using the visor mirror or outdoors with a portable mirror and applying your makeup like that to get actual natural light.

THE BEST THING YOU CAN DO IS TO APPLY YOUR MAKEUP NEAR A WINDOW WITH OF COURSE A PORTABLE MIRRIOR AT HAND!! BELIEVE ME WHEN I TELL YOU THAT APPLYING MAKEUP ON THE GO, DOESN´T REALLY GIVE YOU GOOD RESULTS !!!

Good idea, or you could just do what I do....stand by your window as you put your make-up on. The natural light gives you the perfect perspective.

That totally helped me so much!

I will try one of the above tips - thanks

pearl5711 wrote: Sat, 2008-05-10 12:30

Yeah I have to try this because the bathroom lights are kind of dim, and when I step into a bright room, my makeup is not the same. This is a good tip!
