Salon disasters

Salon disastersWe've all heard the horror stories about the dreaded "salon meltdown". You know, when the chair swivels around <gasp!> and the person in the mirror is unrecognizable. The layers you painstakingly grew out are suddenly back with a vengeance and suddenly you're fighting back tears.

As your best friend will tell you: "It's only hair, it'll grow back" but it's little consolation when you gaze in the mirror.

However, there is some recourse and you don't have to suffer in silence for the next 6 months. Most salons have a policy that if you are unhappy with your cut, you can return (usually within a few days) and have a stylist alter the style to your satisfaction. Check with your salon for details.

i totally agree with you people. why would you go back to the hairstylist and say you hated the cut they gave you?????

i would go to the same salon but have a new hairstylist do it, if it wasnt already too short

I agree. If they have cut it like really short. They can't really do anything about it! I would demand my money back and then wear a hoodie until it grows back!

yeah,I go to a salon that has a policy that says that if I dont like my haircut the stylist has to fix it until I like it and if I still dont like it I can complain whith his/her boss and get him/her fired.

I just recently got my haircut, and she put way too many layers into it, it's cut right above my shoulders...But I have no idea of how to style it now! I have just been straightening it everyday, but I'm bored of that look, any ideas?

And I agree, I will never go back to this stylist : )
