pre-natal vitamins are great for growing hair. in the case of inherited hair loss, nioxin is a good remedy to decrease the amount of hair clogging up your shower every morning.

i think another big problem is lack of sleep and too much stress. that happened to me during bball season, i was never home so i ate crappy food and i didnt have enough time to do homework so i was stressed and stayed up late a lot. so try getting enough sleep, it really helps!

Anyone know a good hairstyle for someone with thinning hair on the top? I also have fine hair on the sides/back.

anmariew replied: Sat, 2008-02-23 23:44

Mines the same way. A stylist suggested that I cut my hair into a short bob, and layer it. The layers are suspose to make look fuller. It works for me. I tease the top and sides then smooth it a little.

Thinning hair is also a result of hypothyroidism--I have it, and can't get my medications right, but I just make my bangs go over the thin spots.
