Make your lip color last

For lip color that will last all day, try applying a lipstain under a coat of gloss.There are many products to choose from and they help you achieve a natural color enhancement that will last and last.
Be sure to allow the stain to set before applying a coat of gloss that can be reapplied throughout the day.

laci2010 is right. this website is really cool. but referring to the lip color thing, if you want a medium color, take a medium/dark lipstick of a shade, (let's say, pink) then take a pale/light shade of pink (another color is fine too) and apply the light lip color to the top lip to accent it and the dark to the bottom lip to accent it. then add some gloss and rub together. it will give you the perfect shade and shine
i use lip gloss all the time, it just suits me better than lip stick
I use both. Lipstick underneath the lipgloss.
I do what nancydrew does, I am BFF with nancydrew, but she moved to France!
What about exfoliating your lips with lipscuff or brown sugar mixed with lipbalm, applying foundation and then apply a lipstain

I am new to this site. I have thought about using a lip stain but where can I get this product and who makes inexpensive lip stains?

I use a dark colored lip color around the edges and put crystal colors in the middle. to keep it longer use lipbalm every wear!
Does any one know of a good product to make lips less red, like my lips are a red and i would like a more pale lighter shade. I look much better in paler colors, but every thing i try just makes my lips more red!

put foundation on your lips first and then put on a pale color. you might want to dust your lips with face powder after applying foundation too. you can even go so far as to put white cream eyeshadow or a make up primer on your lips before applying color.
anyone thought of using the new long lasting 12 hour wear lip colors? Revlon, Loreal, Cover Girl and Avon make them in lot's of colors and they don't feel dry like Revlon's first attempt with "Color Stay". Ever wonder how the porn stars keep their lipstick on after all that action? Hey...maybe they have 'em tattooed on. That's what you call PERMANENT lip color!

Lipstains are literally just liquid colour in a bottle or tube XD And they stain your lips as though you had just rubbed blackberres on your mouth. There are loads of different colours, and I loved Benefit's Posy Tint, though it's expensive, because it's really cute and pink and you can use it on your cheeks too :)
