Making gloss last

Do you find that you're applying lip gloss every 20 minutes? Newsflash: you CAN make that gloss stick around. Start with a lip pencil that matches your natural lip color, then apply a layer of waxy lip balm such as Chap Stick (which forms a smooth, water-resistant base). Proceed with a dab of your favorite gloss and smile away!

you were so right. It looks great and last longer.
I I apply chapstick before and it doesn't work but lip liner does. Applying chapstick makes your lips look smoother though.
I would like to try this tip, but is chap stick. I don't think it's available in South Africa. If not what is its equivalent
You don't have chap stick or any type of moisturizing lip balm? You could probably use vaseline on your lips which is a petroleum jelly.

do you have some kind of 'cheap store'? if yes, buy one of those cheapy winnie-the-pooh,the pricesees or whatever 'cartoon' lip gloss, it does the same thing.

for Ayaz97, Chapstick is a waxy substance that you use to sooth chapped lips (lips that are dry and cracking)Do you have an equivalently there in South Africa? Do you know someone in the US that get some to you. I love it.

when it says "lip pencil" does dat mean u apply it lyk lip balm or u jus do an outline

This tip has helped loads, i cant find Chap Stick anywhere, so I use Vaseline, which is jus the same i think and my lip glss lasts a lot longer now !

chap stick is just lip balm, its not some special thing, just your average bog standard lip balm!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you already know the tip or if you feel it "Stupid", you new the title of the tip prior to you clicking the bar to obtain information- So, what does that make you if the tip is "Stupid"? I believe this site is designed for you to choose which tip you need more information on and if you choose it, the instructions are given as if "You don't know how to"...

now not everyone might like the feeling of this on their lips but if you put concealer.. the facial stuff (any cheap brand) on your lips before putting lipstick or lip gloss, it makes it last for hours
