Nails Beauty Tip

Nail stains

Nail stainsIf you like to experiment with dark nail colors, you may notice a yellow stain left behind after removing polish.

To prevent this from happening in the future, brush on a colorless base coat before applying color.

If your nails are already stained, the unsightly color can be removed by soaking polish-free nails in a mixture of peroxide and warm water.

for already stained nails you can also use toothpaste. use an old toothbrush and toothpaste and brush it on your nails. it worked for me.

thanks for that idea. you can also try soaking your feet in listerine to kill the fungus.

lemon juice also fixes stained nails, and buttermilk softens your fingertips. (it really works. i tried it)

I use dark colors in the winter and then fact of the stain has kept me from wearing light colors. So Toothpaste works or listerine. I'll try it.

They also sell a product sold beauty supply stores called "Bubble White." It's about $2 for a packet, it is a powdery substance that you mix with warm water, it sort of bubbles and fizzes and you soak your nails in for 5 minutes. It does a pretty good job of removing the stains, but it's a bit pricey to use on a regular basis.
