3 Ways to Get Super Soft Feet at Home

3 Ways to Get Super Soft Feet at HomeSandal season is in high gear, which means your feet need to look fabulous every day. Here are three d-i-y strategies to make your soles soft and smooth.

1. Got milk?
Soak your feet in a large bowl of warm whole milk. The lactic acid will slough off rough spots and make your skin feel extremely soft.

2. Lock in moisture.
Slather your feet with a rich foot cream, then slip on a pair of cotton socks. Wear the socks for at least 20 minutes (you can even sleep with them on) to lock mega moisture into your skin. Need a good foot cream? Visit our product reviews.

3. Buff daily.
Keep a pumice stone or foot file in your shower so that every day you can tackle rough spots and cracked heels. This daily maintenance will prevent your feet from stepping into the scary sole zone.

What I told my daughter is, when that last bit of milk expires, warm it up and use it then! Another trick is, in the bathtub, throw in a packet of dry, powdered milk. Very soft results!

well, i will try it as soon as i get some milk in my fridge.

jenni44 wrote: Mon, 2008-06-30 23:40

I'm sorry but this is is a waste of milk. I tried it dosn't work. Don't buy whole milk because (A)if you ues it on you feet it doesn't work and(B)if you drink milk at all you increse your chances of canser because of hormones in milk (C) if canser isn't enoungh then there is the weight gaining part. If you need milk buy soy and don't use it on your feet. Soy milk is also good for your body. For your feet try alo lotion, cheap and works.

traccbolash wrote: Mon, 2008-07-07 13:02

sbabykaykay wrote: Wed, 2008-07-23 22:32

Milk is really expensive just to use on my feet...go to the nail salon and get a spa treatment and ask for a foot wax. the hot wax is on your feet in a plastic bag for about 30 min and peel it off...feels just like a babys bottom

kandy214 wrote: Mon, 2008-08-18 21:35

weellll it seems it might work!!!! ill go try it!!!!

even though it will waste my milk!!!!!

nishamom wrote: Sat, 2008-08-23 18:00

trying putting lotion in your feet then takeing plastic bags and wraping your feet up and putting on socks the bags keeps the lotion from drying up. it really works great. and you dont have to keep them on long.

nishamom wrote: Sat, 2008-08-23 18:01
