Easy summer glow

Easy summer glowAlthough self-tanning lotions have come a long way, some of us are still a bit intimidated by the whole process.

For a goof-proof golden glow, look for moisturizers containing gentle self-tanning agents that will give you a gradual deepening of color over time.

I was too intimidated by self-tanners, when I first started I tried a product that left me orange for about two weeks but I find that the gradual self-tanners work the best. I use Jergens Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer after showering. It's a great way to keep your skin smooth while achieveing a natural looking tan. Just make sure you wash your hands and smooth out the lotion in between the webbing of your fingers.

never ever go to a tanning bed thing. it can give you skin cancer. go for the natural look with the lotion and crap.

I've tried so many different self-tanning lotions and I still look like a zebra, My knees, ankles, and feet really look striped.....how can I fix that?

i guess it just depends what kind of self tanner u use... "the only safest tan is a fake one!" WASH URE HANDS AFTER THO!

tinkerbell1524 wrote: Mon, 2008-08-18 19:07

lol u ladies r funny. A good way I get tan is by spraying myself with water on my front side then laying in the sun for 10 minutes, then spray water on my back side and sit in the sun for 10 minutes. Do this every other day for about a week or two.

I have a few tips....use a scrub first then remove any unwanted hair since tanner will make the hair darker, then lightly moisturize knees, elbows, hands, and feet cause those places absorb a lot of tanner, then just smooth a little tanner on evenly. Just dont do this too on a hot day or it might streak or change color. =)
