Facials

FacialsEver wonder how often you should go for a facial?

The average cycle for skin turnover is about 28 days so to maximize the benefits of your facial, try having one every 4 to 6 weeks.

If that's not in your budget, you can schedule facials when seasons change and supplement with at-home treatments and masks

gabbibabbi replied: Thu, 2007-08-16 15:48

marbee replied: Sat, 2007-06-23 20:42

I make my face masks at home with cornmeal, egg whites, a little water and pureed cucumber. Mix about 6-7 tablespoons of cornmeal with 2 eggwhites, 2 tablespoons of the cucumber and add water until it makes a paste apply to face and leave for 15 mins. Remove with warm water. The mask also doubles as a scrub!

gabbibabbi replied: Thu, 2007-08-16 15:57

yes actually if u take 2tsp. of honey and one half of a banana then mash the banana with a fork or spoon

then mix the honey & banana together in a bowl & apply to face and leave on for
10 - 15 min. then rinse, your skin is smooth & your pores r clensed!

squeze a lemon and mix it with plain youghurt. it helps but be careful when the youghurt slips into your eyes. it stings..^_^

hairgirl101 replied: Thu, 2008-04-24 14:51

I think it works when you take your facewash and add suggar to it, leave on your face for one minute then remove. SUPER SMOOTH!

casp3rs_grl replied: Mon, 2007-06-25 22:42

so like wat do u do wit the strawberry leaves and or toothpaste 2 make it work?

iiharttyouuxx wrote: Tue, 2007-04-24 18:31

toothpaste on zits and pimples helps dry out the pimple and in a few days the pimple or zit will go away!! put the toothpaste on at night or when you're not going anywhere and then wash it off before you go anywhere. i did this and it worked!!

beyoulemon replied: Sat, 2009-02-28 13:05

does any toothpaste work

iiharttyouuxx wrote: Tue, 2007-04-24 18:50

take a normal paper towel and cut it into squares and stack the squares together. stick the 'pour cleansers' into some seltzer or sparkling water and dab some on your face. it's like a homemade facial!

khazzi wrote: Sat, 2007-05-05 07:58

that's cool

goodygoodygumdrops wrote: Sun, 2007-05-13 13:25

The toothpaste really works. I love doing that, It makes you skin feel refreshed and it also takes your zits and pimples away in a couple of days. But if you want your pimples to go away you should do it like once a day.

chabarine wrote: Tue, 2007-05-15 07:02
