For flawless skin like Rachel Weisz’s, be sure to pick a moisturizer that’s right for your specific skin needs.
Your skin looks radiant and healthy when it’s well hydrated. To protect it during the day, use a moisturizer that has a broad-spectrum SPF 15 or higher and is packed with antioxidants like green tea, and vitamin C or E. We like: Olay Regenerist DNA Superstructure UV Cream SPF 25. Repair your skin at night with a cream that contains hyaluronic acid, which attracts and seals in moisture. Try: Lancôme High Résolution Night Refill-3X. If you have fine lines, look for a product that also has retinol, to help minimize wrinkles. We like: Philosophy Help Me. Now that you know how to pick the right moisturizers, here’s how to get more out of them:
• Apply your lotion to damp skin. This will help seal in the moisture that's already there.
• Massage your moisturizer in for at least 15 seconds to boost circulation and maximize absorption.
• When you’re done, always snap the cap or screw the lid on tightly to prevent oxidation, which can decrease the potency of certain ingredients.
WOW the last bit was really informative, never knew that be4

You didn't mention the importance of exfoliation. It helps to slough off the dead skin cells--the moisturizer can moisturize the new healthy cells, right?
As I was reading this, I noticed a very dry patch on my skin, so I quickly checked if it had vitamins c or e in it and it did. So I quickly damped my face with cold water and moisturized for 15 seconds. My face feels greatly moisturized like it has had a moisture boost!!! x
Housefan13, make sure u use a moisturiser that is oil free. A great one I use it Neutrogena Oil-free moisture for sensitive skin. It is also great under a shine- free foundation.

putting anything on my face gives me pimples.
also, putting your moitsurizer in the freezer helps with "depuffing" eyes and i just found that worked for me :]
