i think im gonna hav to try it for sure i hope it works cuz i need it!!hehe

sarafrans wrote: Wed, 2007-09-19 14:02

Sounds like it will be moisturizing and I might try tonight, and perhaps the oil inducing/acne producing preganancy hormones that are present in ALL cow milk won't have a bad affect since it is applied externally and the hormones don't have our insides to chemically react to, causing these unsightlies, check it out, Google "milk causes acne". Organic milk omits the added growth hormone, diff from pregnancy hormone thats in all Cow milk (since it all comes from pregnant/ milking/ hormonal cows) ...just spreading the word on this unfortunate realization, cuz I love milk : ( and hate my bad skin

flippo wrote: Sat, 2007-09-22 20:54

Yoghurt is quite cheap here in Japan, so I'll definitely try this!

hecha en mexico wrote: Sun, 2007-09-23 09:33

I REALLY WANT TO TRY THIS, BUT IM STILL THINKING ABOUT IT I WANT TO SEE HOW IT WORKS ON SOME PEOPLE FIRST!

musvolk... wrote: Mon, 2007-09-24 07:49

I just spent $42.00 on a product I really could not afford. .79 I can manage.

mothergoose1 wrote: Mon, 2007-09-24 21:14

I tried it and YES, it really works. Tighter pores, softer skin, healthy glow...and all this time, I was buying $40 products that NEVER worked! I can't say that everyone will have the great reaction that I did, but I know that I will always have a huge container of chilled, plain yogurt. (I wouldn't consider using flavored yogurt...the flavorings have extra chemicals that I'm sure your skin can do without) So try it, ya'll...and happy make-over!

diva01 wrote: Wed, 2007-10-10 10:01

I will try this my pores are huge. Can any one help with oily skin? I tried the oil blots and milk of magnesia

*Beauty is from the inside out; but it doesnt hurt to make the outside fabulous!

mothergoose1 replied: Wed, 2007-10-10 19:54

There is a helpful product out there for excessive oily patches...Olay Clarity Toner. It's designed to deep clean and minimize pores while simultaneously controlling oil production without over-drying the skin. Use once a day (I'd start an evening regiment.) I love the stuff...it's a bit pricey at $7 a bottle but it will last for several months. Give it a try...and good luck!

mjfashiongrl wrote: Wed, 2007-10-10 21:57

all of these stupid tips like putting oil in you hair to make it shiny or putting thick yoghurt on your freakin face are totally stupid. All the yoghurt is going to do is clog your pores and make your face oily!!!
DO NOT TRY THIS!!!!!!

vaughnsbeauty replied: Mon, 2008-10-13 12:13

mifashiongirl,have you tried it?

mjfashiongrl wrote: Wed, 2007-10-10 22:00

MAYBE I WILL TRY IT
CAN U USE FALAVORED YOGHRT SOMEONE ANSWER ME GOSH

mothergoose1 replied: Thu, 2007-10-11 16:00

Don't do flavored yogurt. Your skin doesn't need flavoring (unless you have someone to lick it off of you. lol...)
It won't clog your pores. it tightens them. I use it everyday and my acne problem has diminished some since beginning the regiment because it helped reduce how much oil my skin was producing. It gave my skin enzymes it needed to balance it out. So, if someone did experience bad effects, it is not for them and that's OK; but for many others like myself, the effects are valid and I wouldn't steer ya' wrong.

ch_lovin... replied: Thu, 2007-10-18 11:02

I wouldn't use flavored simply because you might have some unknown reaction to the fruit in it. You might not even know you are allergic to it.

MOTHERGOOSE SOUNDS LIKE SHE KNOWS WHAT SHE IS TALKING ABOUT

asiansensation21 wrote: Fri, 2007-10-12 23:44

Okay, I tried it. But it was with nonfat yogurt and the results were horrible. My face's skin is the oily type, and I let the yogurt stayed on for 10-15 minutes after I cleansed my face, too. Instead, of making my pores go away, it made it worse, by irritating my skin. So, now, it is so dry and I can feel my skin all rough. It used to be softer than it is now, prior to me trying this 'experience'.

So, does the 'nonfat and fat' yogurt matter? Are we suppose to use whole fat yogurt or w/e? Thanks.

mothergoose1 replied: Sat, 2007-10-13 07:36

Don't use the non-fat yogurt and you might be letting it stay on too long. *Start with five minutes with the whole yogurt and see. Your skin just might not tolerate it and I suppose that can happen. It might not be for you. If you still get negative reactions from it, consult a specialist to find out the best possible solution for your ultra-sensitive skin. I wish you well...
*Avoid putting the yogurt on your lips or too close to the eyes as those areas are too sensitive and will dry out.
