I'm all about the natural look but that was a no brainer. You never ever apply foiundation with your fingers! You have bacteria under your nails and that causes breakouts even if you wash your hands. I like to use makeup to ENHANCE natural beauty and I wasn't impressed.

Then don't use your nails! It's a good point to mention, but shouldn't be a big deal for most if a few things are taken into consideration. There is bacteria everywhere anyway, but it's only a problem if your skin is broken or really irritated. Clean fingers to apply makeup on clean, intact an non-irritated skin with clean product is fine.
I didn't say use your nails but regardless you still shouldn't use your fingers and some people have long nails and using fingers would be kind of hard especially to avoid your nails touching your face. You don't have to have irritated skin or broken skin to break out it's caused by oil build up or dirt that get in your pores.
I just watched this video, and did you see how her lashes curled up like that!? I use my eyelash curler and they dont look curly like that! Hod do I get mine to curl up like that? I put the eyelash curler at the base of my eyelashes, matbe I should put it at the ends? Where do you put it at? thanks ♥
i use the curler at the base, then the middle, and then the ends of my eyelashes because they don't curl well, but they're long ... idk if people with short eyelashes can do that ... but also try using the curler after applying your mascara, but before it dries completely that way it will help hold your lashes in the curled shape :)
Take your blow dryer and heat the eyelash curler for about 5-8 seconds and then curl your lashes. You may have to reheat it for each eye. Just be careful how hot the curler gets so you don't burn your eyelid. If your blow dryer is really hot then warm it for less time. They also sell heated eyelash curlers now that run on batteries, but they are about $10. Good luck!
Her lashes were already curly so they cheated! I've never seen someone with curly lashes like that unless they did it once or twice before the video.
i think she has fake lahes you can get extended lashes for around $50. It last as long as your natural lash,when your lash grows and falls out so does the fake one. it looks treal to . i had it done for wedding and looked great.
I believe she has permed her eyelashes. There is no other way to make your eyelashes stay nicely curled throughout the day, unless you keep on curling them repeatedly. I've permed my eyelashes before and it lasted for quite a few months. However, I think it looks a bit fake. Permed eyelashes tends to look fake unless you get a highly professional natural perm. Its alright to blend the makeup with your fingers since its liquid, but never apply with your fingers. instead use a makeup sponge. using the sponge won't allow as much makeup to go on your face so that you don't clog your pores as bad. when doing this, you can still get the natural look.

a really good reason of why her lashes are so curled is because she's african-america. they tend to have thicker hair as well as natural curls. you can tell by her hair on her head too. some women out there are lucky because they have natural curled lashes from their family gens.
you always have to wash your hands right before you apply foundation on your face. it will actually be the most sanitary and efective way of applying foundation. brushes inhibit a-lot of bacteria so it will be worst than using just washed hands. also, we always use our finger-beds, and always try to avoid touching your face with your nails bacause it'll scratch your skin and the foundation will not go on smooth. benifits from using our nail beds to apply foundation is: you'll use less foundation, foundation will go on more evenly as you can blend better this way, and you can adjust the coverage from lighter to heavier on different areas on your face depending on the amount of coverage you want. if you are still concerned with bacteria, you can always use diposable makeup wedges/sponges. however, you'll be wasting a-lot of your foundation since the wedges absorb most of your foundation and you can't adjust the coverage you want by using that. you'll also be wasting money as you will probably use them once only because you don't want any bacteria. bacteria, will always be everywhere, even in your foundation, so the rule of thumb is to never use foundation after 1/2 year because of bacteria and 2 months for mascara.

I have blonde eyelashes and pretty good skin. If i do the no makeup look it includes mascara and, really, NO Makeup. foundation is the worst thing for your skin ever. a good sunscreen/moisturizer is way more important.a bit of berry lip gloss couldn't hurt either.
First of all, you do not apply foundation with your fingers, and don't smear it, you blot it. and this tip was acctually pretty good.
i wanna give a comment for the make up artist do u really think the girl in the video has bigger or more curl eyelashes cuz she is african american? well let me tell u something i think it doesnt matter if u are african american or not, if u see the video the mascara brush is oval and i think thats one of the main reason why her eyelashes luk big and curl. Im hispanic and let me tell u something u dont have to be african american to get ur eyelashes like that, just use another kind of mascara and brush a oval brush ohh and i forgot something to get eyelashes like that, u have to know how to aplied the mascara!!!!! eso es todo!!!

thas wut hapen to me if dont ware make up i look dead, but u know wut it depends in kind of color hair u have, cuz if u got blonde hair, defenitely u are going to look sick and tired without no make up on....
I have a pic on my profile I am pretty pale with brown hair and you know how some people have naturally flushed cheeks well I don't and whenever I don't wear makeup my mom says you look like a ghost or something put some blush on! So it's my complexion. I don't even have blond lashes and if I don't wear mascara I look sick. At least I don't have to put much make up on to look alive again...haha!
Don't curl your eyelashes AFTER you put mascara on them...they will just break and you will end up with short stubby uncurled lashes in the long run
wow i had no idea that its bad to apply foundation with my fingers ops i have been doing that forever and i have had the issue of using to much it seems to always look like some spots are darker!thanks everyone

why would you put make up on to look like you have no make up on? thats just stupid!!
ok well this dude doesnt kno how to put on or use make up.. he should lern how to put mascara on.. and the use of that kind of make up is to MATCH YOUR SKIN TONE.. not to put a lighter shade so ur ugly cheeks stand out .. the whole use is to cover ur pores and other disturbing stuff on the face. i agree with the ppl who say NOT to put make up with ur finger tips.. the brush works fab just my tapping it on ur skin.. gosh people are so dumb sometimes!!
i know what you mean everyone knows that using your fingers you get more zits because of the OILSS that are naturally in your fingers!!
i use a sponge for my whole face then use a small brush for specific parts of my face than go over my face with the sponge to blend it in. it works soooo well
can i just say, some of you are so rude. these people know more about make up than the average person. If you read up on some things you find out that you should always WASH your hands before applying make up...so that would keep you from getting the bacteria..and oil. I have seen a lot of you say man some people are dumb, well obviously you should read up on it a little more before you comment...because sponges are FULL of bacteria just in case you DIDNT know!
I am sure there are better ways of saying you disagree then to be so ugly.
