I agree. It didn't show how he actually curled the hair; it was more of an ad for the products he was using.
i agree if ur gonna put a video on here at least show how to do the style they just flew around the whole point!!!:)
THAT SO WAS NOT HELPFUL **ANGRY MUCH** I MEAN HE SAID HOW TO MAKE IT CURLY FOR PEOPLE WHO HAD STRAIGHT HAIR NOT FOR PEOPLE WHO NATUALLY CURLY HAIR...CAUSE MINE MAY BE CURLY BUT ITS NOT PRETTY
if ur hair is naturally curly then straighten it then do what he says
not to argue with you, you may know something i don't; but my hair is curly from top to bottom, and my experience says that if you straighten it first, you have lost a lot of the bounce. in fact, i've noticed that if the curling iron is the first "heated tool" you use, the more likely it is that your curls will stay all day. and some days even without any hairspray!
but everybody's right. this video did not show you how to start from the root of the head with your curling iron and so on...
Only applies to naturally straight hair, not much help to me with naturally curly hair.

I agree. This video only showed the many products used...which is fine & good, but it did not show how he actually curled the hair. I would love to see a video where the subject was curling her hair while the stylist was telling her what to do so that we know that we could do it ourselves, too.
yah i agree with you my hair doesnt curl right wen i do it i would like to know how to actually do it myself.and so i dont hav to pay hundreds of dollars to a salon so they could curl my hair every time i needed it curled.

Some peoples hair is different. you probably cant straighten your hair. Dont be rude. Get a hairdo yourself. Maybe thats why you haven't posted any pics of yourself.

it was ok but it still isnt what i need... i mean my hair is straight but kind of medium length so i really dont know how i can make curls on my hair...
Yeah, same here! And then whenever I try to curl it it doesn't look right so i usually just end up straightening it to make it look better and getting frustrated and leaving it.......Do you ever just absolutely HATE your hair and wish you had someone else's?
every day!! ym hair is just to darn thin so when i try to thicken it up some it gets all frizzy and sticky...so i end up straightening getting the total opposite hairstyle i want!!!

it takes time, but with practice, it's actually pretty easy. if your problem is that your hair doesn't hold the curl, try this: very lightly spray a small section with your fav hairspray, then START AT THE ROOT with the iron. the more you do it, you'll learn the tricks.
if the prob is body there are a couple of options: 1) after curling, pull hair half back and, starting with the bottom layer of that top half spray w/ hairspray, then tease with a fine toothed comb. again, takes practice. 2)a tip i learned from here: blow dry with volumizing mousse on roots. when completely dry, curl FROM ROOTS DOWN. 3) a simple, not quite as effective way; just roll the curling iron up and around at the base of the piece of hair your curling in the direction you want the piece to fall and lightly spray with hairspray. 4) of course, use a smaller barreled curling iron on random and top pieces of hair.

it wasnt helpful to me cuz i have natural curly hair and frizz!!!!!
it was ok but didnt show you exactly wat to do could of been a bit longer and shown wat to do if you have wavy or curly hair!
I dont like those type of curls..Plus it was really quick and not that easy to see..And he didnt say what to use if you had natrually curly hair..=p

most definitely, this style isn't great. I wouldn't be surprised to see this as some kind of pantene commercial, how lame...
Well I acn't belive that a real hair stylist is using pantene. Which is like the worst thing you can put in your hair.All it does is coat your hair in plastic thats whyits always so shiny.
i don't like pantene either. it really does build on your hair.
