And we promise it doesn't require a degree in physics. It starts by creating a simple ponytail, then with a few twists it turns into a gorgeous messy-on-purpose bun.

I couldn't tell what he put in her hair to secure it after twisting it into a bun. (before the flower). Also where do you get the sweet ponytail elastics with hooks?
I'm pretty sure he put a bobby pin cause he said, "Then you put a pin."...so he was probably refering to a bobby pin. The ponytail elastic with hooks..., I have no idea where he got them. You could probably find them in a salon or by the hair products in stores.
The ponytail holders look a lot like mini bungee cords. But I'm sure you could use any pony tail holder - he may have wanted to avoid pulling her hair through something since that would de-fluff it a bit after all the teasing. I think it would be hard to put those little bungee cords on by yourself.

looked real easy to do if you have thin hair. i cant imagine how many bobby pins id have to use with my thick long hair!
does anyone know how to do scrunch curls for a person who has shoulder length straight hair?? or any other cute hair styles that would be easy for me to do??

k u make the elastic holder with 2 boby pins and a smaller elatsic band...you loop the elastic band through the boby pins on both sides and make sure they'll hold and that there equal.

it really looks terrible and if you're wanting to make a good impression by wearing your hair like this...well, you just miss your chance. the public's eye is going to say "she don't care about her hair", no matter if it does have a pretty hair clip or not. Thanks anyway...but no thanks.

This video is terrible. They cut away when he actually twists and secures the hair. Also, he makes her look like she did her hair nicely, but then got really drunk and passed out, slept on it for a day and a half, then rolled out of bed, stuck a sparkly pin in, and went to a party. So if that's the look you're going for...
