Hi Sarah,
I'm 30 years old and have been doing the eyeshadow and water for about 13 years. So i have tried a lot of different eye-shadows. I have found that MAC eyeshadow that is the best.but it has to be the velvet finish. That texture works the best and I have tried a lot of brands. just make sure its velvet. That works great when you use it as eyeliner. It mixes very well with the water. It is also great to use as a shadow and then line with the same shadow color it looks like a liner shadow set. The only bad thing is out of all the eyeshadow colors MAC has, there is only about 10 colors in the Velvet texture! Here are most of the shades in the velvet texture. there might be more just hit on the color and see what the finish (texture) is. One more thing I recommend a brush by smash Box. It is like the brush on the video. What i like about the Smash Box brush is the hair on the brush is stiff so you can make a nice line, it wont bend back and forth. Hope that this was useful.

I have green eyes like the model and I heard that if you have green eyes, red eye liner was good to use. Is that true?

Heres the real perfect colors for your eyes
Blue eyes- brown undertones avoid purple or blue focus on warm browns taupes and soft peaches and pinks
Brown eyes- blue undertones
go for more rich plums, blues, warm browns, shimmery caramels, mahogany, and charcoal
Green eyes- Red undertones
Go for soft purples and peaches, warm golden browns, and taupes
Hazel eyes- Follow green or blue eye rules which ever you prefer
Very dark brown eyes/ Black eyes- Neautral colors
Go for navy charcoal and plums, but if u really wanna stand out go for blues greens, plums, and soft pinks
