Wow, I just tried it and it worked really really well!
That's the first time one of their curly/wavy hair videos has actually worked for me

I want to try it, but I can't find any spray wax. Any suggestions? :)

luvdogz replied: Wed, 2008-06-18 19:45

hairspray should work just as good, maybe the maximum hold.

paul mitchell makes my favorite brand of spray wax...but redken makes one too that works just as well. i've just used paul mitchell for longer...kind of hard to find but i believe hair product stores sell them...like the ones at the mall and such

hehe_246 replied: Fri, 2008-08-01 02:07

I guess for really curly hair as long as it's not like an afro then you could straighten it before you try to make it wavvy like that. LOL thats what i do anyway =]
Hope it helps ya!

hazabella wrote: Thu, 2008-07-10 07:45

It looks easy enough, but does it work for long thick straight hair? Do you have any tips for curling it?

anissa5830 wrote: Thu, 2008-07-17 13:27

Well, only if you have straight hair. Again, I have curly hair, and curly hair from the beach, just looks curyly with a frizzy halo. What then? Oh, and he's right about the dirty feeling. My hair ALWAYS does better when its dirty. So, I wash it and put products in it at night, for the next day. Your natural oils (from your scalp and your fingers when you run your hands through it) help to smooth it and helps your style better. Fresh clean hair is not good if your hair tends to frizz....

I've got really thick layered hair, and i can never get the curls to set, ive used different setting lotions & hair sprays. ive used heated rollers and loads of types of curling tongs which alson didnt work, my hair dresser suggested i curl it with my straighters, this worked but the curls just fell out of my hair within 2hours!!this is dead frustrating =( any suggestions:D ♥☺ ?
