Maybe we never grew out of the whole "school's out for summer" mentality we had when we were kids, but to us, this season still means just that: vacation. Whether you're packing your bag for a long weekend or a plane trip, you don't want to be loaded down with too many beauty products. We scouted out your essential beauty products in convenient travel sizes that won't send your luggage over the weight limit.

Tired of lotion bursting open in your bag? Say good-bye to greasy disasters with this Coola Body Lotion Bar, which is a solid at room temperature and then melts with your body temperature when it's rubbed in. Bonus: The 2.75 oz. tin is TSA-approved, so pack it in your carry-on bag.

We've all been a victim of the "first day of vacation" sunburn. Tomato-red skin isn't flattering on anyone, and sun exposure is the number one cause of wrinkles, so it's important to stay protected and forget the "base tan" logic of the '80s. The Sephora Sun Safety Kit has pretty much every product under the sun (pun intended) in convenient trial sizes and all proceeds go to The Skin Cancer Foundation.

Very carefully... ;-)
I actually place all liquids in zip lock baggies when I travel. In the event of a lid malfunction, nothing else will be ruined.
You always have the best giveaways! Thanks.
I'm not very good at organizing my beauty essentials. When I pack lotions or liquids I put them in ziploc bags, I separate my make-up from soaps and toothpaste. I'm not about organization, more about minimizing any mess from any potential leakage when I pack.
I have a special cosmetic case I use to keep them in and protect other stuff
if i'm driving i bring the whole train case. if im flying i pack makeup bags galore
I have a makeup overnight bag that I place all my essentials in it. Then have it already available for when I travel.
I buy the sample size bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and hairspray from my local hair salon. I save samples that I receive from Sephora for travel so that I don't have to take larger, sometimes glass bottles of my skin cream with me. I pack two Ziploc bags--one for essentials that I will need in case my luggage is lost and one with items that are nice to have just in case. My essentials bag goes in my carry on. My "just in case" bag goes in my checked bag. I always pack extra Ziplocs for my return flight.
I have a quart size Ziploc bag full of small amounts of all my beauty essentials ready to go on the road anytime. I save my trial and sample size containers, clean well, and fill them with the approriate item. A small label helps remind me of each (in case it is different then the original item). This helps when you cannot find your "must have" while traveling and helps you be green!
Hotels have great ideas for traveling; perfectly sized shampoo/conditioner bottles. They also don't mind if you take a couple for the road! Keeping these and re using them for a trip is a very eco friendly way to pack and also these bottles are unlikely to explode! Ziploc bags are a necessity with liquids. As far as makeup, keep it simple: lotion, mascara and chapstick! Guys love natural girls! And last but not least always bring your favorite face wash, after a long day on the road you will feel refreshed and calm!
I put my products in travel-size containers and/or pack smaller full-size products. I have a toiletry case from Mary Kay that is WONDERFUL. It has four separate zippered compartments that are wedge-shaped so they 'roll' together to form a square bag. It holds a ton of products, accessories, first aid necessities, medications, even a normal-size hairbrush (as in, not a tiny travel brush) would fit! It is a bit large, though, so I usually pack it in my checked luggage rather than my carry-on. Which means I can't put anything super important in it, in case it gets lost or delayed. Would love to have something I could fit in my carry-on instead, or even as a just-in-case backup!
I pack all of my essentials in a clear cosmetic bag. Makes it so much easier to find everything.
When it comes time to travel I pack all my favorites and must have beauty needs by trying to get sample sizes or little versions of all of them so that way they fit and can travel easy. I always ask at the beauty counters/stores if they have a small sample size of the same product that I'm purchasing. Most of the time they do or they make one up for me if I know I have an upcoming trip. If I don't have a smaller version I create my own by using beading storage containers with labels. Then pack them in a clear travel bag that fits in the side of my carry on luggage. I always have them close by and with me so I'm never without my must have beauty needs!
I put all my beauty products into little plastic baggies and then put those into my cosmetic case :) I try and buy travel sizes if they're available.

I pack all my bathroom stuff in a little tote inside my suitcase. Then I pack the stuff I need handy in my large purse so I have it when I need it. Makeup is in its own bag. mstyle10@hotmail.com
