Shenae Grimes' Nerdy Hairstyle

We've seen our fair share of questionable makeovers, but this recent look of 90210 star Shenae Grimes really has us puzzled. While her messy topknot is in serious need of dry shampoo and a brush, the nerdy-chic glass and minimal makeup give her a cute and slightly sexy appeal. We like the casual feel, but wish she'd put a little more effort into her hair. A soft pompadour hairstyle like Maggie Grace's or a less messy updo like Frieda Pinto's would have been a better choice.
What do you think of Shenae Grimes' geeky gal look?
she looks like she was in a rush and maybe didn't have time to get super glamored up or possibly just didn't feel like it. No big deal, I mean I've been there. she seemed to just be going for that ultra causal look. I wouldn't call it a fashion crime. I've seen photos of shenae when she is just out and about and this look is her personal style.

Not a huge fan initially. However, she looks more down-to-earth and accessible than normal, which is great. Combing her hair definitely would've helped.
