Looks like Katharine McPhee has seen the light. We were so upset when the American Idol alum chopped off her lush locks and dyed them platinum blonde: The pale color made her look ill and the short hairstyle looked like a psuedo-mullet.

This bob haircut is a massive improvement. The color is richer and doesn't wash her out (we still prefer her glossy brown hair though) and the sideswept bangs and subtle texture give it a modern, flirty vibe.
