Don't throw out your summery pink lipstick just yet. This gorgeous girlie makeup look from the Moschino Cheap & Chic Fall 2011 fashion show is proof that pinks can still reign supreme in winter. Go for the bold bubblegum pink lipstick, but blot it down to remove the shine and soften the outlines. Flushed cheeks and black eyeliner complete the look.

Metallic eyes are always great for fall because they look polished and can instantly dress up your whole look. This highly reflective silver eye shadow effect, created by makeup artist Tom Pecheux for MAC Cosmetics, looks piercing thanks to the contrast of thin black liner, smoky grey shading, and a pop of silver on the lid.

For a natural makeup look, this one is subtly, but undoubtedly, sexy. Created by MAC Cosmetics Makeup Artist Gordon Espinet, this is the look for a girl who is "sexy and coquettish, but doesn't even know it." The flushed cheeks and nude lips make it girlie. The graphic black eyeliner make it just a tad naughty.

If you love coral shades in the summer, then you'll love this faded fuchsia look created by MAC makeup artist Terry Barber for the Blugirl Fall 2011 fashion show. Moisturize lips, then apply a warm fuchsia lipstick and blot it down until your lips look stained. Sweep a peachy blush over cheeks and define eyes with a sheer tan eye shadow.

Here's a fresh way to make your bronzer useful this fall--use it as eye shadow. Don't feel pressure to pile on the makeup this fall. Truth is, a lot of the Fall 2011 fashion shows featured really natural, feminine makeup. This look from Elie Saab is a perfect example. Glossy pink lips, rosy cheeks and black mascara. Simple. Sexy.

How many ways can we reinvent the smoky eye? A million. But here's one that stands out this season. It's hard jump from light summer makeup shades to dark sultry fall tones in one giant leap. This grey smoky eye and bronzed cheek makeup look from the Salvatore Ferragamo 2011 Fall fashion show is the perfect halfway point. The grey eye shadow is spot on for fall, but the white eyeliner lightens up the look.

Never thought of bubble-gum pink lips as a fall trend, but am really liking that look! Would be good for transitioning from summer to fall. LOVE that metallic silver shadow in the slideshow. I just bought a silvery grey one called Summer Storm from Mattify Cosmetics – it’s gorgeous as a liner and will be perfect for a more dramatic smoky eye in later fall.
Gotta say one thing about the “Tan + Pink = Sexy” look – um, that really looks terrible! The model looks like she got punched in the eyes. Someone get her cucumber slices and an anti-puffy eye lotion STAT!
