Does Heidi Montag's New Face Make Her Look Older?
After we've been staring at Heidi Montag's new face for a few weeks now, we've come to an agreement here at Daily Makeover HQ: She looks older than the hills. Older even than The Hills. We thought Heidi 1.0 and even Heidi 2.0 were pretty fabulous, but the aspiring songbird underwent a series of ten surgeries at once, ranging from a mini brow lift to buttock augmentation. She emerged weeks later fully recovered and rocking a facade that looks inspired by Gisele, but we worry it's only a hop and a skip from entering the city limits of Jocelyn Wildensteinville.

What is it about Heidi's chiseled look that ages her? We turned to a professional to find out and asked Dr. Nina Naidu, a New York City plastic and reconstructive surgeon and creator of Anokha Skin Care. Says Naidu, "Heidi looks more mature, rather than older. It's a result of the brow being lifted which has given her a more classical look from the eyes up."
Naidu praises Heidi's rhinoplasty pointing out that it looks "very nice and natural." However, she notes that Heidi's received a lot of surgery in one sitting. Notes Naidu, "This is something that I actively discourage with my own patients."

i think she does look a lot older not to mention more fake and unnatural. I think her pre-look was much more interesting and unique. Now she just looks like another blond hair big boobed wannabe barbie doll. Sorry Heidi...MORE isn't always BETTER!!

Personally? She looks like a porn star. She took away her individuality and became just another big chested blonde every guy wants to &&&&. Reminds me of that movie, Surrogates. I preferred looking at the REAL person to the barbie-over-plasticized thing she's become. She took away her youthful roundess to her face, gave her self a decidedly FAKE and looks older, late 20's early 30's maybe. Hot enough to get noticed but not different enough to remember.

I liked the old Heidi so much better! She just looks like a totally new person now. It's like the old Heidi doesn't exist. She was so pretty and had this glow about her. She definately blew the other girls away with her old look on THE HILLS. She was absolutely gorgeous. This new look is like she is about 35 years old. Still pretty, but SO not her!

Old Heidi looks much better, more youthful...now she looks like a porn star! Not ugly, just more slutty. I just hope that was the look she was trying to acheive.

Surgery is TIRING - not just normal tired, but a profound depletion of the system - and that takes time to restore - especially if she had several adjustments done at one time. If she looks older, I'd wait 6 months and look again, when her system has had TIME to restore itself.

Hope she starts loving herself soon before she has enough surgery that morphs her into looking like a cat like those other women that become addicted to it! By then her own mother wouldn't even recognize her! Yikes

I miss Heidi's old look! She was absolutely the way she needed to be before and now she has gone and messed it all up..I hate when celebs do that! They look perfect and then go in and screw it all up! I feel sorry for her. She was beautiful and now I dont know what to say!

She definitely has lost the softness that natural beauty gives you. She now looks much older and harder. The above pictures to me look like mother and daughter. Not an improvement in my opinion. She looks cookie cutter now, nothing unique and natural, just like every other cookie on the Hollywood shelf.

sorry i like the old Heidi better. Now she is lost in the blonde big boobed hollywood bimbo club. Why cant famous people accept that we love them for who they are and what they can do not because they look like barbie. She seems to have lost her glow her cheeky smile and personality in her looks. She looks stunning but her face is now just a face.

I personally think her "old" chin looked better and more natural - giving her face a shape. Now - her "new" chin looks very rounded and big and looks more Leno-like now! Its obvious she has some addiction issues and sadly - I think more is to come. Too bad. I think she looked prettier before.

This plastic surgeon thinks her nosejob looks natural? That's pretty scary. Almost as scary as her face. She was a beautiful girl, now she's crossed over into freakdom. She obviously has very low self esteem if she thinks she needs this.

I thought she looked pretty enough before.She was married that says something.She looked pretty after the surgery,but older ,maybe she didn't intend to look older but she does.Her boobs are to big ,especially for her body.She might make it harder to buy clothes that fit.She's doing too much.

Wow... she looks like one of those stars that were beautiful and famous when they were young, then got a bunch of plastic surgery and ended up on one of those strange daytime soap operas. Oh wait! She probably IS destined for that, because she already nailed the first two requirements! She had a natural glow before, now she just looks like if you hit her with a sledgehammer, she might crack in two! Sorry, but this was a BAD choice. Oh, and I liked her old chin better- I don't think it looks (oops, I mean LOOKED) like Leno's chin at all.

She was a very beautiful young woman. She looked 23. The readers are so right when they say that she looks about 35+. How old is Pam Anderson? She looks that old!

Her new chin is very masculine--she looks more like a man in drag... very sad. She should have been turned down by every doctor for this much surgery, and directed straight to a therapist (especially when she requested a square chin!)! The doctors who are willing to do this to a beautiful young woman just to pad their pockets make me absolutely sick.

The original heidi 1.0 as the author put it was much prettier and for more intersting to look at. She had her own character. Now she looks just like all of the other paris hilton, barbie doll, playboy girls next door wanna-bes, but without that something different, something special. Sadly saying she looks more mature may be the nicest thing said....she looks sad and lost.

I think she looked fine before. Very young an pretty. But now I agree with some of the others that her chin is more square and like a guy's chin, not good. She looks somewhat older now too as they say. I think maybe she should have left the face alone. She had such a beautiful glowing smile before. Now seems like she can't even smile. Most of the after pics I see of her, she isn't smiling even. So maybe she's not happy with it either?? She should have just got some little breast implants put in and left the face alone. Her before chin was fine. Was a little pointy on the end which is fine, that''s how mine is. That looks more feminine than having a big square chin. But maybe that is what she likes.

Her new jaw line is too strong and manly for her. And her lifted eyebrows make her look appear vague and empty.
I don't like her new face. The only good new feature is her nose, wich didn't change too much.
She should hold on and wait: when she gets old, there will be plenty of reasons to make plastic surgeries.But perhaps they'll be useless then.

Ha! I agree! I couldn't quite nail it - what was it about her that looked campy and overdone. Oh - no , wait, that was the surgeries. Nevermind.
It's really too bad - she really was a stunning, knockout, gorgeous girl with all her own features and things that made her unique before. She WAS a diamond, and she's polished/cut/shaped herself into the same thing everyone else is.

Wow! She looks OLD. In a phrase "hagged out". Why on earth did she feel the need? She was much prettier before. And while I am not against cosmetic surgery. I have had it myself, I am against totally remaking yourself and losing the unique look given to you by your familial heritage. Getting a "tweek" to your look to improve something you don't like about yourself is one thing, but totally remaking your body if there is not a very compelling reason...that is sad. Shame on the doctor who performed the cosmetic surgery. Part of the job of a surgeon is to counsel the patient on what is best for them. In this case I think the doctor just did what the patient wanted whether it was needed or not, just to collect the BIG FAT CHECK.

Wow, she just looks awful. For starters, I completely disagree with the doctor who speaks in this article; her nose looks just entirely unnatural. Her chin makes her face look too square and too harsh now, forcing harsh lines across her face that make her look colder, older, and less beautiful. Not to mention that simply scary eye-lift...and at 23, there is absolutely no reason she should need or desire botox. Obviously the plastic surgeon who did this job was of no useful consul to Heidi; either that or the girl is just determined to ruin herself. Compared to the Heidi we met once upon a time on "Laguna Beach" as Lauren's sweet little friend, she has just ruined herself and her appearance completely. There is no way in hell anyone could attempt to take her seriously now, and I seriously believe this is just the start of a lifetime of plastic surgery nightmares that she will continue to have done on herself for her 15 minutes of People cover fame. Let's not fall for this fake girl but instead see her as an example of what not to do and who not to be. This girl should not be on The Hills anymore; she is a poor influence and figure for young women to be watching.

I can hardly believe it is the same person. Her "new" look has aged her at least 10 years. And, she looks so hard. What a shame. She was already lovely. I have nothing against cosmetic surgery (have even had some myself), but what she has done has aged her rather than making her look more attractive. A real disaster as far as I'm concerned.

She has a tired look and she looks older... In her before picture she looks radiant. Maybe it will get better with time. It hasn't been that long since the surgery.. I hope she doesn't keep doing more and ruin herself completely like Jocelyn Weldenstien

Even though she brought this on herself, I feel bad for her. She obviously has problems with herself inside that she feels the need to change things on the outside. And it's sad cause she was so much cuter before, and now she can't take back what's been done-- like 75 percent of her will always be fake. I feel for her cause i'm sure part of her regrets it, especially after all the harsh critique she's been getting.
Any hopes she had of becoming a pop star are, in my opinion, pretty much blown out of the water. Everyone is kind of disgusted with her. What kind of message is she sending to people?? That you have to have a generic fake look to be attractive or succed in the pop world? Heidi has just made on big mistake.

I think its terrible that a doctor let her get that square chin and breasts bigger than her head. I think she looks like an attractive drag queen. I don't think she looks all that different then from before. She needs to smile a little more now, which is going to lighten her face up, as it should. It is so horrible how people have reacted to this poor girl doing what every other women in HollyWood has done before her. No wonder she can't smile. Everyone is making her think she looks like some kind of monster and that iks just not the truth. I admit the Doctor did wrong by doing this many surgeries at one time on her. Her face is going to look much better in a year or two. When the body has had time to heal.
