I really enjoyed watching video's of the event and the tips. I strongly encourage dailymakeover.com to bring videos into the mix rather than just pictures. Pictures with tips just cant help patrons understand the nuances of the tips.
However, I was disappointed that several makeup artists and hair designers didn't even dress up or showcase their own personal style. Many were wearing plaid - Yuck - and only two seemed dressed for success. Actually, I thought your reporter was beautifully put together, sparkled and showcased the event with wonderful style and flair.
The models with broken, split ends and "gunky" hair just made me wonder about their own personal ethics, much less the business ethics of presentation. I applaud their daring and their guts to do the job, but agreed with the hair designer - they needed help.
My hair has tons of frizz and lots of texture so I definetly appreciated the comments "Ted" made (the gentleman that said, "gunky - if that's a word"). It would be a nice touch if dailymakeover.com added the product names and links to each video. But I'll go watch it again and try to catch the name.
