Jen Kao sent models down the runway with hair tips darker than roots and shafts, and the pin-straight locks at Victoria Beckham and Alex Wang didn't lend themselves well to faded color. Kiss that beachy style goodbye, Giuliana, and trade those peach tips in for deeper shades of brown and black, Lauren Conrad.

Drew Barrymore was way ahead of this trend when she died her blonde ends black back in 2009, but converted to classic ombré coloring last year.
