Red Carpet Ready Giveaway

Red_Carpet_Giveaway.jpg
In the lead up the Hollywood's biggest night, the stars can go to sometimes crazy lengths to make sure they look their best. From pricey treatments to following a strict diet and skin care routine, there's no beauty stone left unturned. When you've got thousands of cameras taking your picture, which will then be beamed out to millions of people, looking your absolute best is priority number one.

Why should the celebs have all the pampering fun? In honor of the Oscars, we want to give you a chance to live out your own red carpet fantasy. Here's your chance to feel like Hollywood royalty. While we don't have a glam squad to send to your door (what we wouldn't give to have that on an everyday basis), we do have an amazing gift basket of glam-you-up goodies to give away. There's over $650 worth of pampering essentials from the following brands:

  • Borba
  • Sue Devitt Beauty
  • Per-fekt
  • Anokha Skin Care
  • Brocato Hair Care
  • Twist & Pout
  • Perfect Formula
  • Sea Breeze
  • E.L.F.
  • King of Shaves
  • Mystic Tan
  • Infusium 23
  • VMV Hypoallergenics

I'm specifically obsessing over the Sue Devitt Microquatic Oxygen Infusion Masque--it uses active oxygen molecules that create this delicious foaming sensation on your skin. Five minutes with this makes your skin look like you just woke up from the world's most restorative beauty sleep cycle.

The King of Shaves Pamper & Moisturize Shaving Gel is also a fab red carpet pick because it not only gets your legs rid of unsightly stubble (essential if you're rocking that unconventional short dress or up-to-there slit) it also leaves your legs looking soft, smooth and sexy. Hint, hint Mo'Nique.

Want to snag this fabulous prize package for yourself? To enter to win, simply tell us in the comments below what your favorite Oscars look ever was (man, woman or precocious child actor) and you'll automatically be entered. Contest ends Monday, March 8, 2010 at 10 A.M. EST. Be sure to read the full rules and regulations.

Congrats to our winner Elizabeth. Thanks to everyone who entered and shared their favorite Oscars looks.

Renee Zellweger's white dress w/large bow was amazing. Classic, glamorous and sexy.

My favorite Oscar look ever was when Sharon Stone did the combo of the Gap t-shirt and the beautiful long skirt. The mix of casual and luxe, everyone's fashion and super haute-- that's total style and very much our first lady is mixing it up now. I love that. Makes fashion both accessible and inspiring.

I don't think I really have a personal, all-time favorite, but I do love looking at all the beautiful (and hideous) gowns on all of the actresses!

I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER THE YEAR JULIA ROBERTS WON THE OSCAR , THE 73RD ACADEMY AWARDS, SHE WORE A DARK GOWN WITH A GORGEOUS TRAIN AND HER HAIR AND MAKEUP WERE WONDERFUL. SHE NEVER LOOKED BETTER.

I have two favourite Oscar looks....Julia Roberts in her black and white full length gown and Halle Berry when she won her Oscar for best actress. Both classy looks and classy ladies. What I wouldn't give to look like one of them. :-)

A few years ago Renee Zellwillger wore a gorgeous red gown that I still remember. She looked like a real moviestar with her hair done up 50s style, red lipstick and that dress!

my favourite look was when Halle Berry won best actress, in that daring sexy dress, with her pixie cut. definitely memorable.

When Kim Bassinger won for "LA Confidential". Her style that night matched the cool 50s chic that the movie was set in. Absolute perfection!

I love the looks and stylings of the power couples: Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt, and Will Smith and Jada Pinckett Smith. They always look so good together!

Jennifer Aniston -- I think she was just presenting, but she was wearing a simple black dress, nothing super glamorous. I liked her for the fact that Brad and Angelina were sitting in the front row, and I think it took a lot of guts to be up there. She handled it with dignity and looked natural and beautiful.

no question Halle Berry 2002 Elie Saab burgandy Floral, absolutely gorgeous.

penelope cruz winning an Oscar
looked divene in a vitage dress pierre balmain and accesoriesmore than 3 millon in jewelry---gorgerous

I love the gray Versace number Marisa Tomei wore to the 2009 Oscars. She was stunning!

When Taraji P. Henson wore the tube top dress...BEAUTIFUL.

My all time favorite Oscar look was definitely Diane Lane in Oscar de la Renta (2003)!

My favorite was Penelope Cruz with an amazing black dress. This gown make her look stoning and it was very appropriate to the Oscars. She was elegant but sexy at the same time.

Penelope Cruz in 2007 - Atelier Versace. She looked beautiful and totally the right look for the night.

I would have to say Julia Roberts' vintage Valentino. As much as I love color, Julia showed that you can look just as elegant and beautiful in simple black and white!

Kathrin Heigl wore an unforgettable red dress by Excada for the Oscars in 2008. It was very romantic and memmorable. "The Lady in Red"

In 2005, when Hilary Swank wore the Guy Laroche gown in navy. Completely covered up to her neck in the front, and so revealing and bare in the back. It was a beautiful dress.

I absolutely loved Gwyneth Paltrow's pink gown the year she won for Shakespeare in Love. She just looked beautiful. Such a good color for her and she was literally glowing!

I don't have any special memories but I do like the comments that are given out for each outfit. Some of the outfits are very daring and other ridiculous

I loved Jennifer Aniston at last year's Oscars. She looked fresh-faced and beautiful!

My facvorite oscar look was the infamous J-Lo green sheer dress. I think she looked more beautiful that night than any other.

I loved Cher's outrageous Spider Woman outfit.

Julia Roberts in 2004 with that awesome giorgio armani dress...

I don't have a specific favorites as there are just too many dresses in 1 night :-)

I don't know if it was my favorite look ever but I absolutely loved Penelope Cruz's dress at last years Oscars! She looked stunning!

There have been some great ones out there but my fav would have to be Natalie portmans pink dress from 09. She just looked awesome!!

DEFINITELY the stunning look Anne Hathaway pulled off at the 2007 Oscars, with her amazing black and white Valentino dress. Classy, elegant and stylish.

I'm going to go against the grain and saw Cher's 1986 Bob Mackie Oscar look is my favorite. I know, I know, it's universally regarded as one of the worst Oscar looks ever, but hear me out. It was a bold statement to the academy saying "I'M HERE! Take me as I am because I'm not changing for you"

Bold and one of a kind, just like Cher.

Bold and one of a kind, just like Cher.

(oops forgot to verify! sorry if it showed up twice)

my all-time favorite dress of the oscars was Bjorks 'infamous' swan dress! I think it's amazing how confident she is to wear something so fun and different.

Julia Roberts when she won in 2001 for Erin Brockovich. I've always thought she looked so regal in that dress! :)

Love the glorious Oscar days when Richard Burton and Liz Taylor were Hollywood royalty. Her violet dress designed by Edith Head in l970 matched her legendary violet eyes. Now that was Hollywood.

My favorite actress is Angeline Jolie and she always look fabulos

My all time favorite Oscar look was Nicole Kidman, very classy.

Hard to pick a favorite but I think Jennifer Anniston looked stunning in her beaded platinum Valentino gown at the 2009 Oscars. She was definitely out-shining Angelina Jolie!! :)

My favorite Oscar look is always is Julia Roberts.

Marisa Tomei's 2009 Oscar look .... the gray Versace looked stunning on her!!

My favorite look was Michelle Williams' bright yellow dress. I think it was when Brokeback Mountain was nominated. I think it was so pretty with her skin tone, and it really stood out to me.

My fav Oscar look was Halle Berry at the 2002 Oscars. It was a beautiful dress!

Audrey Hepburn's look when she was accepting her Oscar for Roman Holiday. Her look was understated, but timeless and something girls going to the Oscars have been trying to emulate for years. But there can only be one Audrey :)

Halle Berry when she won her Oscar in 2002. It's daring and classy at the same time. She's the only on eI think can pull that off well.

My pick would definitly have to go to Natalie Portman at the 2009 Oscars. She looked amazing in her pink gown. Not to glam but just right for her.

I agree Julia Roberts looked gorgeous in the vintage Valentino, but I have to say it's Penelope Cruz in the 2007 Oscars is my favorite. She wore a blush Atelier Versace gown with a sweeping train. Gorgeuos!

Renee Zellweger was so stunning this in that white dress!

Jennifer Hudson. 2008.

White flowy empire waist dress with the snakeskin-ish trim. So flattering and proof that a full figured woman can indeed, look fab in white!

As much as Jessica Simpsons weight is an issue throughout Hollywood, i love how she always looks fabulous no matter what size she is. She has a no care attitude about it. I really loved her daisy duke days but now that weight is an issue, she shows us all that sometimes size doesn't matter.

It's down to two choices for me- either I agree with Jess, and have to go for Sharon Stone's 1998 pairing of a Vera Wang lilac skirt with a Gap button down (so casual chic!) or Charlize Theron's orange Vera Wang from 2000. She received mixed reviews that year- but anyone else would have flowndered completely- and she managed to pull it off with glamour to spare! Vera Wang almost always delivers the perfect Oscar gown!

Hallie Berry looked amazing the night she won.The dress was crazy beautiful.

I agree with Kim, Halle Berry winning Best Actress in her beautiful dress and adorable hair, makeup impeccable.

Best look was was last year for Jennifer Aniston, she wore the silver/gold dress with her hair down and minimal makeup. Accessory was then boyfriend John Mayer.

My favorite red carpet look for the Oscar's was in 1988 when Cher was in an outfit by Bob Mackie.

I am always look forward to seeing what Jennifer Aniston is going to wear. I love her simple black gowns.....she is beautiful!

I loved Michelle William's curry-hued '30s-inspired chiffon gown by Vera Wang, which she wore with bright red lipstick at the 2006 Oscars. The lines of the dress were just beautiful and the color was a real standout on the red carpet. Not to mention that Ms Williams herself looked both comfortable and happy.

There are always so many beautiful looks, and of course some hideous ones, that are magnificently fun to look at. Hallie Berry always looks classy as well as Julia Roberts and Natalie Portman. Kate Hudson's white dress from a few years ago was to die for!

I would have to say that Helen Mirren looked absolutely fabulous on the red carpet the year she won for "The Queen". She shows that there IS a graceful way to age and still look beautiful!

My favorite look would have to be of Halle Berry when she won best actress in 2002! She looked so amazing in that daring Elie Saab dress, with her pixie haircut. I remember that till today and will always be a favorite of mine.

I'm always a fan of the red dress, red lipstick look. It just so classically says "Movie Star"

Penelope Cruz at the 2007 Oscars

Her blush colored Versace gown with feathered sweeping train was to die for! Classic Hollywood!

Cate Blanchett in 2008 when she was pregnant and looked great! It's always nice to see a women showing off her belly and proud of her changing body! Helps show the moms at home that being pregnant can still look good!

when halle berry won the best actress award, she was stunning... perfect hair, makeup, dress... it was impecable...

My favorite Oscar look was Gwyneth Paltrow when she won for "Shakespeare in Love" in 1999. She was gorgeous in her feminine pink Ralph Lauren gown, her hair in a classic, sophisticated up-do and simple, glowing makeup. She looked like the the definition of a beautiful Hollywood movie star. I think her look was glamorous and flawless.

My favorite was Jennifer Anniston from the 2009 Oscars, the hair, the dress, the everything!!!!

I always love kate winslet's looks. she's always so classy

I loved Julia Robert's Valentino dress. I'm not sure which year it was but it was gorgeous!

Michelle Williams in that gorgeous mustard gown with red lips and soft hair at the 2006 Oscars. Perfection!

bjork's swan dress!! haha

I loved Jessica Alba in the Versace gold lace gown, 2006. But there are so many beautiful gowns in Oscar history and it is hard to pull up anything farther back than the 90s. Beautiful fashion didn't just begin 20 years ago.

Anne Hathaway always looks stunning. I loved her black and white dress from 2007.

Anne Hathaway's Armani Prive dress from 2009. Amazing! She is such a beautiful woman.

I loved Heidi Klum in 2008!

Halle Berry in 2002 if I HAVE to pick one favorite. She stunning anyway but her dress was icing on a gorgeous cake.
However, Julia Roberts usually looks amazing as I expect her to this year and I always expect Jennifer Aniston to look beautiful and classy and yet somehow very natural at the same time.

It was just from the 2009 Vanity Fair Oscar party, but I loved Claire dane's cream colored dress with black lace over it. I thought it was gorgeous!

Emily Blunt, 2007 Oscars... Beautiful blue sequined dress with just the right amount of jewelry; the color of the dress really stood out from the rest. Her hair wasn't over-the-top, but simply gorgeous!

2009 Penelope Cruz, in a white embellished ball gown, I want one... classic cinderella style, I love the vintage cuts, she looks like a princess.

My favorite and most memorable Oscar look would have to be Gwyneth Paltrow in 1999 wearing the Ralph Lauren pink gown.

Jennifer Aniston last year. She is such a class act!

My favorite Oscar look was Miley Cyrus at the 2009 Oscars. I loved that sparkly dress with scalloped ruffles, so gorgeous! :)

My ALL time favorite would be Jessica Alba's 2006 elegant and sexy yellow and sparkling Versace dress. It's the perfect dress to show off such a gorgeous body like Jessica's!

Penelope Cruz. She always presents herself in an elegant and dynamic way.

2010 Oscars
Taraji P. Henson from "Tyler Perry's I Can Do Bad All By Myself" glowed in a white strapless Roberto Cavalli gown.

I'll have to agree with Gwyneth Paltrow in that beautiful pink dress. She looked so glamorous.

My favorite, that I can recall is Diane Lane in 2003. I believe it was Oscar De La Renta.

I love them all - even the awful ones, they give us something to talk about!

Michelle Williams in the marigold dress a few years back. The dress color, makeup and hair just made the whole look amazing!!!

Then and now..........Can only be " Sophia Loren " ...........Timeless. Need I say more.

Sharon Stone sticks out in my mind with a simple white tee shirt. Her simple dress left you awe inspired to see her for her natural beauty. She wore a natural look with her make-up which further made you see just her for her natural beauty. Her face in pure form with it's classic Hollywood features made all the other women there look over done and plastic. She was beauty in classic form.

Julianne Moore in emerald green Yves Saint Laurent designed by Tom Ford at the '03 Academy Awards. Gorgeous!

I cannot pick just one that stands out in my memory. Over the years there have been many that I think were just stunning, and too numerous to list. What I really enjoy is watching the redcarpet as they all enter and see the beautiful dresses and accessories that the normal person could never afford but items you can dream about owning in your next life when you too are famous. Of course if we had the professionals working on getting us ready for work or a date we would also be impeccable in our looks from make-up to hair, to wardrobe and accessories, it takes a lot of work, but if you find what you are comfy in and can do on your own, thats what its all aout. Would love to win this basket so I can try a lot of the products.

Natalie Portman with her stunning pink dress!

Best Oscar look was Halle Berry at the 2002 Oscars. GORGEOUS dress

My favorite was still Halle Berry for best actress with that adorable razor cut/pixie haircut!!!
Loved it & best of all it is still in style.

My favorite look is when an actress is wearing vintage gowns. Julia Roberts Valentino is a stand out, but I think most stars look amazing in a gorgeous vintage look.

I loved Beyonce's 2005 red carpet Vintage Atelier Versace. Out of her trifecta performances, the channeling of Audrey during her performance of the Phantom of The Opera was most memorable.

I love whenever Cher shows up ;)

I loved gwyneth Paltrow's look- when she did the pale pink Ralph Lauren dress. Such a princess look!

I agree with Sharon Stone -- anyone who can rock a Gap white t-shirt at the Oscars is a winner in my book!

My all-time favorite (so far) is Reese Witherspoon - 2007 - Nina Ricci floor-length gown in a deep purple - she looked terrific (always does). Other faves - 1999 Gweneth Paltrow in her pink Ralph Lauren Gown (I copied that look in a ball skirt for a New Year's Eve party later that year because I loved the color so much) and last, but definitely not least, Sharon Stone in 1999 in her Gap shirt and Valentino skirt - with the white flower - looked Terrific! Who knows, maybe we'll all have new favorites this year? : )

My very favorite Oscar look was Nicole Kidman's chartreuse Dior gown from 1997. It was the most unusual color and had such gorgeous details-- I've never forgotten it!
Thanks!

My favorite is Jennifer Aniston. She always looks so glamourous. I just love her hair, skin, her attitude/personality. It reminds me of Rachel (Friends). She is my favorite actress from Friends. She is beautiful inside and outside. Any men could have her! lol. Love her glow!

I absolutely loved Natalie Portman's dress and look here:

http://ilovedorks.files.wordpress.com/2009/02/natalie-portman-oscars.jpg

The color complimented her so well and the dress was absolutely phenomenal. Gorgeous.

My all time favorite Oscar look is Halle Berry (the year she won Best Actress for her role in Monster's Ball). She was stunning, radiant, graceful, memorable, classy & historic all at once. Her look was perfect!

Julia Roberts in the black and white gown

I loved Sara Jessica Parker in 2009 in a Dior Haute Couture strapless belted chiffon ballgown

I loved Penelope Cruz in the strapless pale pink Versace gown with the feathering on the skirt...she looked amazing and was the steal of that year's show.

Michelle Williams in her mustard-colored gown with the train and ruching. It was such an atypical color and the cut and style were elegant but not over the top. Her red lipstick was perfect with this dress also.

Anne Hathaway in Giorgio Armani Prive, 2009
Anne is so lovely and ethereal - a fairy-mermaid, pure and sparkling. She looked truly breathtaking.

MIne was a few years back -- Julia Roberts wore a beautiful black vintage gown -- I think it was a Valentino.

Anything that Cher has ever worn by Bob mackie. She is so gorgeous and trend-making. :-)

Anything by CHER!! Her and Bob Mackie are an awesome team!!

I loved Beyonce's look in 2007, elegant and classy yet still very sexy.

I likes Anne Hathaway look in that beige slinky shiny gown. It's gorgeous!

My all time favorite Oscar look is a tie between Gwyneth Paltrow in her beautiful & elegant, soft, pink gown and Halle Berry the year she won Best Actress for her role in Monster's Ball.

I guess if I MUST choose between the two, I'd go with Halle because she was perfection. She was classy, sexy, sophisticated, gorgeous, stunning, radiant, simplicity & historical all at once!

Marion Cotillard and her gorgeous mermaid dress was my favorite look.

Julia Roberts with the black and white gown. Very classic!

My favorite look of any award's show was the black and white dress Julia Roberts wore. The dress was simple but elegant - old Hollywood without being "stodgy." I thought she looked classic!

I meant 2009 Oscars:
Taraji P. Henson from "Tyler Perry's I Can Do Bad All By Myself" glowed in a white strapless Roberto Cavalli gown.

Angelina Jolie 2009 in her black dress and huge bright green emerald earrings and matching ring ( gosh I want them so bad!) The sheer slit in her dress made it seductive and sexy. Loved her hairstyle and everything! She looked perfect!

I always love reading and seeing all the beautiful jewelery. Who could forget the emeralds on Angelina J!

Mariska Hargitay I think was the most beautiful woman. she had everything done perfectly. Not only is she a great actress, she looks like she would be very nice too. The gown she had on was absolutely amazing.

I think that Julia Roberts always has one of the best Red Carpet looks.

Julia Roberts in her black and white full length gown was my all time favorite so far. I can't wait to see the new ones tonight!

Nicole Kidman just about every year but especially in 2005. She looks amazing!

I love Julia Roberts in 2001 when she won & wore the black with white lines it was simple stunning and classic. From her hair to her shoes she was absolutely gorgeous that night !

Meryl Streeps white dress was very elegant

There's a few that come to mind but the very first was Charlize Theron at the 2002 Oscars!
I think that was the year. That white dress she wore was amazing!

I've got to go with the canary and burgundy number that Cate Blanchett wore. Absolutely fantastic!

I'm really loving SJP's look from tonight actually. Of all time I'd have to say Halle Berry the year she won best actress.

My fave was tonight. I loved Kate Winslet tonight. Just beautiful.

I have to say Julia Roberts when she won for Erin Brokovich... she also looks glamarous & absolutely stunning!!

Anne Hathaway all the way. ;D

My favorite Oscar Moment was when Adrien Brody won a Best Actor Oscar back in 2006 and then kissed Halle Berry.

I think that Julia Roberts always has one of the best Red Carpet looks.

I honestly was blown away by the sexiness and polished look that Sandra Bullock pulled off at the Academy Awards this year. Her dress was like her personality, outgoing but classy. Her bright red lipstick gave her polished look a dramatic touch, and her straight simple hair wrapped everything together. Sandra pulled off this look with class and she was herself up there on that stage accepting her award. The bells and whistles are nothing to this actress. She was simply a vision in her Oscar ensemble.

Hey very nice blog!! Man .. I will bookmark your blog and take the feeds also...
