Emily Blunt's wedding dress may be designed by Marc Bouwer. The Devil Wears Prada actress is set to tie the knot with John Krasinski later this year and has so far refused to reveal who will create her gown, but Marc has hinted he may be the man for the job.
He said: "She really likes the way my dresses fit her. In her wedding dress I would like to see something with a lot of action on the back, but a really slim shape. I would do arrangements with gorgeous flowers in the lower-back area. I like taffeta. The shine has a bit of a gold iridescence to it, very slight just so that it adds a little bit of warmth to it."
Marc also gave advice on what accessories Emily should wear on her big day, saying: "I love a long simple earring. You're not supposed to wear pearls at a wedding, so maybe throw in aquamarine. Something borrowed, something blue--there you go!"
Although Marc is refusing to say whether he has been given the job, he admits it would be a dream come true. He told Hollywood Life: "This is just a designer's dream to do something like that. Not that I'm saying I'm doing it."
