Jason Wu's collection reminded me of some of my favorite fairytales, and my inspiration came from the ethereal beauties like Cate Blanchett in the Lord of The Rings trilogies. The make-up had to be very soft and fresh to balance the strong elements of the clothing. There was also this feeling of optimism when I looked at the collection, a positive energy that I wanted to convey in the look.

I gave the girls a porcelain, matte face, very icy and pure. I used powder instead of foundation and then gave the girls a very strong brow. I used Revlon's ColorStay Brow Enhancer to enhance the shape and color of the brow. For the eyelids, I used the gorgeous Revlon Illuminance palette in Seashells, giving a touch of baby pink and gray, subtle but still eye catching. I love the cream blushes, and used the First Blush by Revlon for a warm glow adding a touch of color in lilac from my new lip shade that will be debuting this fall with Revlon. It's my first collection for the brand and I'm super excited about it.

Finally I wanted an impactful lip to finish the look, and I used Revlon's new Passion Fusion palette (available in Fall 2009) to stain lips, and Revlon's Super Lustrous Lipstick in Va Va Violet, also part of the Passion Fusion collection, for extra color. The hair was pulled back off of face which really accentuated the magic in the look.

When exactly is the Revlon passion fusion collection going to be available in stores? I've been looking for it for about two weeks now. I know that it is available in the UK and other European cities. Why not in the US? And what are the colors exactly?
