OK, everyone is still buzzing about the prospect of a Susan Boyle makeover--including us! Already there are photos of wearing a sleek leather jacket, cute wrap dress and most recently--with groomed eyebrows. Maybe she was inspired by our virtual makeover?

It's inevitable that Susan Boyle will in some way, big or small, get a makeover. Who wouldn't take it up a notch if you knew the entire world is looking at you? And there are more benefits to getting a makeover than just looking good.
The Susan Boyle makeover debate spurred us to poll our viewers to see what they think. Over 500 women responded and three quarters of them think she should get a makeover. But, they also said that a makeover wouldn't detract from who she is. Bravo! I agree with this because a makeover should never change who you are.
And there's another benefit of getting a makeover: feeling more confident. 95 percent of the respondents said when you feel good about how you look, you look better and stand taller. Extra self-confidence is something anyone could use when they are unexpectedly in the spotlight.
Here are some other survey highlights:
• Reasons to have makeover: increase confidence (34%); just for fun (23%); look special for a special occasion (15%); update for seasonal trends (14%); become more beautiful (12%).
• Half of the respondents liked their overall appearance, but would welcome some makeover advice. When asked which services they would like to have done during a makeover, haircut/hairstyles ranked as the number one choice (27%), followed by makeup (26%), clothing advice (24%) and hair color (25%).
• Having a makeover doesn't come without reservations. The two scariest things: letting someone change their haircut or color (47%) and the reaction of friends (25%).
• Nearly all (90%) of the respondents said they would like to try on their new look before they commit to it. Feeling like you want to try out a makeover? Head to our MakeoverStudio to give yourself a free virtual makeover right now.
She looks soo nice well done,i think her confidence will be boosted and she will make it big.Good luck to you susan also if you ever need to make someone over pick me i would love it you all do a fantastic job inside and out. Thanks Ruth
She has such an amazing voice, I know I don't give a rip what she looks like. And she is beautiful inside and out - all women are. If she did get a makeover and look like the DailyMakeover edited picture that is up there, she would be gorgeous. But it's her choice.
She doesn't need a makeover! She's wonderful and I love her voice and her attitude. People should stop acting like there's something wrong with her because she's not overdone. I'd still buy her CDs, no makeover required.
Susan, you look lovely though that's not to say you didn't before your makeover. Be true to yourself as you have nothing to prove to anyone. You have a natural gift, make it work for you, your mother would be proud. *smile*
I thought that Susan had done her own" makeover" recently and that she had done it for herself or maybe she felt pressure to look "better." I appreciate the makeover studio and what it could do for her but she doesn't need a makeover. Looking through the eyes of a makeup artist one see's only what can be changed about her. But looking at her to me I see such a sparkle in her eye, such a softness and innocence, a sweetness and joy in her heart and pride in herself probably reminiscent of where she comes from. She has a beautiful soul and it's hard to see it through all that edited makeup over her. It's actually sort of scary and sad, it seems like you all want to be the first to take "credit" for this makeover she "should" be having. Everyone's racing to be the first one who will ultimately make her look like someone she isn't.
Thanks for listening to my feedback and god bless Susan Boyle!
She looks much better with no makeover, she has real talent and doesn't look plastic like 99% of Hollywood which I think is great. I think the world needs to see that if someone has a real talent they can be successful without having to conform to the showbiz plastic standarts of beauty. That is why so many people like her, she stands out.
It really comes down to if Susan wants or needs some help in showing herself in the best possible light. Some people just need a little help to shine.
yes she is amazing, not only her voice, but the confidence and the obvious pracctise that she has had with the song she chose. This is someone who must have been singing a long time, but was just never seen by the right people. Now we have seen her, and we love her, there is nothing wrong with a person wanting to look the best that they can. If this is what she wants then a makeover will only make her feel more of what she already feels about herself.
When I was growing up, my mother tried to teach me how to make the most of what I had naturally. Maybe Susan never had that guidance during her young life. Maybe Susan would actually enjoy getting some guidance on what would look nicest on her, to enhance her natural cheeky look and sparkly eyes. If Susan thinks its a good idea and enjoys the experience then that is what she should do. Most of us, naturally, get ourselves spruced up for work, church, weddings so what is wrong with Susan getting a 'makeover' as you call it. When I get up in the morning I too look like Susan, but after a shower, hair styling and a small touch of make up I am ready to face the world. It makes you feel good about your self. Of course we all think she has a wonderful voice so why shouldn't she look wonderful too.
Why would Susan not want to be the best she can be? Doesn't everyone? If you think not, you may need to start on a regimine of anti-depressants.
I think she looks great after the makeover and she will feel much better.
Most women like to look their best, especially when in the public eye.
Stop messing with her brain! The reason she is where she is now (in hospital) is because of people telling her to get a makeover and things! Please leave Boyle to be herself.
If she feels better having a makeover, then let her. She still has that wonderful voice. I live in Canada and have asked a friend to send me the CD when it comes out because I don't know when we're getting it here.

I think that everyone should leave this woman alone. She has such a beautiful voice and when you get right down to it - do they do this to the men? No we women have to always make sure that we look better than the other person. There is nothing wrong with Susan Boyle, she has a great personality and such a beautiful voice. Just leave her alone. I will buy her CD's whether she has had a makeover or not.
