The only one that looked good was the Anne Hathaway Sleek Bob! The others looked sloppy.
My hair is Black and I want to dye it a lighter color, but I don't want to use bleach, how can I dye it without the bleach???
I changed my hair color from dark brown to blonde, but i did it gradually. The only way to go from dark to light quickly is a professional bleach job ... but if you have healthy hair and no reaction to the dyes u buy from the store, you can lighten your hair 2 shades at a time by dyeing it everyday or every other day ... this can be almost as expensive as a salon lightening to start out but you can control the color change this way. I now have it down on how to do my roots and how long to leave the dye on (I always do 12 minutes as opposed to the 20 they recommend ... it gives it a more natural blending ... few people know my hair is dyed because i lighten my eyebrows too) I once dyed my hair 3 times in one day until I got the color I wanted ... I had below the shoulders length hair and it did no damage. My hair was as smooth and silky as could be.
I use Loreal Preference # 9 1/2 .. Natural Lightest Blonde I believe it's called. I get perfect color everytime. ... for more highlights, I spend a 1/2 hour or so out in the sun after I've colored it (during the summer months anyway)
What about the over-50 group? We have the money and the desire to look fabulous. All I see are 20 and 30 somethings.

Straggly sickly hair to match the fashion for stick thin women. When are we going to ditch razored hair in favour of thick lush and shiney locks?
