MAC senior makeup artist John Stapleton's technique: Instead of harsh black liner; run a brown or plum eye pencil like MAC Powerpoint Eye Pencil in 'Permaplum', along top and bottom lashes, extending the lines straight out past your corners rather than curving them up.
