Apply a pea-size amount of styling lotion onto your damp strands and then blow dry while using just your fingers to move your hair around. Rub tacky styling cream on your hands and then run your fingers through your hair while pulling up on random sections on top. Twist very small and random sections to create a slightly spiked texture.
