Step 1: Apply a pea-size amount of styling lotion onto damp hair.

Step 2: Blow-dry two-inch sections at a time with a large round brush. Lift slightly at the root for volume and roll the ends under.

Step 3: Leaving pieces out in front, sweep your dry length to one side and place into a low ponytail using a coated elastic band. Cover the band by winding it with a half-inch section of hair and tucking the ends into the band.
