Step 1: On damp hair, apply a quarter-size amount of styling lotion and then work a dollop of mousse in at the root. Blow dry two-inch sections at a time using a large round brush to lift slightly at the root for volume. Create a deep side part.

Step 2: Mist a two-inch section with styling spray and wrap it loosely around a large curling iron. Hold in place a few seconds to set curl, release and repeat, curling in the same direction until all sections are done.

Step 3: Finger-style into place and lightly mist with hairspray.
