Step 1: Start with dry, curly hair with a messy, almost-centered part.

Step 2: Leave a few pieces out in front and then take a two-inch section on each side of your part at the front hairline. Twist and then individually pin the sections at the back of your head.

Step 3: Take a four-inch section above your ear, twist it and pin it in back above to the other sections. Repeat on the other side. Lock in your style by misting it with hairspray.
