Step 1: Start with dry hair that is smooth on top and ultra-curly on the bottom.

Step 2: Use a natural bristle brush and smooth hair tight against your scalp while gathering your length back and low to one side. Secure into a ponytail with a coated elastic band.

Step 3: Take a two-inch section from the ponytail, twist several times and then pin the section into the base of the ponytail, tucking the ends in. Continue with all sections until you have a curly pin up. Spritz with hairspray to secure.
