Step 1: Starting with smooth, dry hair, take a two-inch section of hair on top and hold it straight up. Use a tight-toothed comb and backcomb in short strokes along the back, down toward your scalp. Repeat with all sections on top of your head.

Step 2: Push your bangs to one side. Leave a few pieces out in front and sweep your length back. Starting at the ends, roll your hair vertically until it snugs up against the back of your head. Pin securely into place.

Step 3: Spritz with hairspray for long-lasting hold.
