Step 1: Start with straight, dry hair.

Step 2: Take a two-inch section on top and hold it straight up. Use a tight-toothed comb and backcomb in short strokes along the back of the section down toward your scalp. Repeat with all sections on top of your head and then smooth over the surface with a natural bristle brush.

Step 3: Leaving pieces out around your face, sweep your length back. Twist a few times and pin into place in back with the ends sprigging slightly upward. Finish with a light mist of hairspray for an all-day hold.
