Step 1: Apply a nickel-size amount of styling lotion onto damp hair. Blow dry haphazardly while shaking out your hair with your fingers.

Step 2: Avoiding the top six inches, wrap a two-inch section of hair around a large curling iron. Hold in place for a few seconds to set the curl, release and repeat all over alternating the curl direction.

Step 3: Turn your head upside down and ruffle hair with fingers. Turn right side up again and create a messy center part. Finger style your hair into place. Spritz with hairspray to finish.
