Step 1: Start with curly dry hair. Rub pomade on your fingers and run them through your hair to create soft definition.

Step 2: Take a one-inch section from the side and pin in back. Repeat on the other side. Continue pinning back one-inch sections until you run out of hair in front and on both sides.

Step 3: Gather the rest of your length in back and twist a couple of times. Pin the ends of the twisted section against the back of your head and then spritz with hairspray to hold everything in place.
