Step 1: Apply a walnut-size amount of wet-setting gel to damp hair.

Step 2: Use a comb on a one-inch section, dragging it sideways until a ridge forms. Gently press the ridge with a finger to hold it tight. Turn the comb and direct the hair that is past the ridge so it curves back in the opposite direction. Continue curving hair back and forth all the way through that section and onto the next section.

Step 3: When all sections are done, allow hair to dry. Sweep length to one side, roll it up and pin into place.
