Step 1: Apply a quarter-size amount of styling lotion onto damp hair and blow dry two-inch sections straight with a paddle brush.

Step 2: Smooth hair flat against your scalp with a natural bristle brush while you gather it into a tight ponytail high on your head.

Step 3: Take a two-inch section, spritz with styling spray and roll from the ends up onto a large curling iron. Hold in place a few seconds to set the curl and then slip the iron out. Pin barrel curls up at the base of the ponytail. Continue with all sections.
