Step 1: Start with smooth, dry hair and isolate a halo section on top of your head.
Step 2: Take a two-inch section within the halo and hold it straight up. Use a tight-tooth comb and backcomb in short strokes along the back of the section toward your scalp. Repeat with all sections within the halo.
Step 3: Use a natural bristle brush and smooth the surface of the halo section as you move it back and pin into place. Take a three-inch section from each side and pin them together in back. Mist with hairspray to finish.
